1. SHARE WITH ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND ALL OVER THE WEB!! WB Knives and/or Waqar Bhutta and/or Wakar Bhutta and/or Mughal Brothers and/or RR Cutlery and/or https://www.facebook.com/wbknives and/or any number of other names........ DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CROOKED PIECE OF CRAP!!! I DIDN'T KNOW ALL OF THE ABOVE WHEN I BID ON AN AUCTION BY WB KNIVES. I HAD THE HIGH BID FOR THE AUCTION. THEN HE TRIED TO EXTORT MORE MONEY FROM ME BY PRIVATE MESSAGE. WHEN I RESISTED, HE BLOCKED ME SO I COULDN'T POST A REVIEW OR COMMENTS ON HIS PAGE. THEN HE SAID HE WOULD HONOR THE BID AND SHIP THE KNIFE. I TOOK HIM AT HIS WORD AND PAID BY PAYPAL. (I KNOW, I'M A DUMBASS!) STILL NO KNIFE. HE SAID IT WAS SHIPPED, BUT REFUSED TO GIVE ME A TRACKING NUMBER OR SHIPPING ORDER NUMBER FROM THE SHIPPER. SO I SAID NEVER MIND, JUST REFUND MY MONEY. EVEN THOUGH HE SAID HE HAD ALREADY SHIPPED THE KNIFE, HE THEN SAID HE WOULD REFUND THE MONEY. BUT NO REFUND TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT. SO NOT ONLY IS HE A LIAR, HE IS ALSO A THIEF!!!
2. Watch this video, wtnhunt. Bet you change your opinion.......... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lXUkK5qb1Y
3. Have killed MANY deer, hogs and coyotes with .223/5.56. Ruger Mini-14 and AR. Because it is so light, short and easy to handle, my Mini-14 is my go-to hog gun for close up encounters while still-hunting in the river swamps. Usually more than one hog, and usually get more than one. Of all shot with Winchester 64 grain, Power Point factory loads, only ONE has moved out of it's tracks, an that one went only about 10-12 yards. Unfortunately, it was into the middle of the thickest, nastiest briar patch in three counties! Took my Super Blackhawk into the thicket to get him, crawling on my belly like snake. Luckily, he was dead when I got there. I don't bother trying head shots. That little 64 grain Power Point is TOUGH. Under 100 yards, behind the shoulder, just like a deer = DRT, and almost always have an exit wound. Never shot a hog or a deer with one farther than that, but several coyotes have felt it out to almost 200, with the same results - DRT .
4. Here's a close-up of the scope......
5. Still fighting for custody of my son, and my lawyer won't work for free. Having to part with a few old friends....... Marlin 336, mfg. 1980, pre-crossbolt safety button. The original owner made the classic Marlin mistake - tried to install a sling swivel in the "Bullseye". I know that most of you already know it, but it bears repeating - THE MARLIN "BULLSEYE" IS A TRADEMARK, DESIGNED TO CATCH YOUR EYE WHEN THE GUNS ARE DISPLAYED ON A VERTICAL RACK ALONG WITH GUNS FROM OTHER MANUFACTURERS. IT IS NOT THE INTENDED POINT OF ATTACHMENT FOR A SLING SWIVEL! The bullseye is fairly soft plastic, and won't hold a screw very well. And if you put the screw in it anyway, remember that glues which hold wood and glues which hold plastic are VERY different, and none are very good at holding wood to plastic under stress. When this one pulled out, the original owner made it even worse by enlarging the hole and attempting to epoxy in a machine nut to thread the swivel into. That pulled out too. When I got it, I drilled out the oversize, off-center hole and installed a walnut plug. Then a new bullseye, and then sanded both to perfectly match the contours of the stock, then refinished all the wood with six thin coats of good lacquer. As you can see in the photos, the plug is a little harder than the original stock wood, and didn't take the stain quite the same. But it really isn't noticeable unless you're looking really close. There is a little blueing wear on the bottom of the receiver, but no signs of ever being abused in any way. Really hate letting go of this one. Took two deer with one shot with it a few years back. All the way through the first one, on a quartering away shot. Then through a gallberry thicket, and hit a second, unseen, deer twenty yards further out. Entered just on the left side of the brisket and exited the right hind leg!! See-through mounts to use the iron sights 90% of the time, with a 4x scope up top. The markings say K-Mart; pretty sure it was made by Simmons. Nice and clear. Comes in a Plano "Protector" hard case. Would prefer to sell in a face-to-face transaction, along with 78 rounds of factory ammo, for $600. If it has to be shipped, ammo doesn't go, and I'll sell for $550 plus actual shipping cost. Ammo can be a separate deal for $50 plus actual shipping cost. Anyway, here's what "Ol' Punkin Chunker" looks like........

10. Over 200 views and ZERO responses?!?!?! Surely, SOMEBODY knows of a club where the members obey the law and don't get drunk!!
11. I am a former conservation officer, and currently a municipal police officer in a small city. I am professional, career law enforcement officer. I am seeking a good, law-abiding, NON-BAITING hunting club for my 15-year-old son and I. Prefer Monroe or Clark counties, will consider others within reasonable distance. Over the years, I have held membership in seven hunting clubs in south Alabama and in the Black Belt region. I have left every one of them due to blatant violations of law, BY OTHER MEMBERS OF THE CLUB. They expected me to ignore their violations because we were buddies and/or members of the same club. Nope, never happened, never will. Most of these violations were for baiting. There have been other law violations, and other, non-law-related factors involved with some of them, most commonly excessive drinking and partying all night, preventing the real hunters from sleeping. In each case, when asked to end the behavior which was causing problems, the other members refused. When the subject was brought up to club "leaders", they also refused to do anything about it. Also, for a VERY short time, I was a member of a club which advertised 2000 acres of land. After being in the club for I while, I realized that it just didn't add up. I didn't see 2000 acres. I found out that the regular club members were allowed to hunt only 1400 acres. The other 600 was set aside as PRIVATE for the club president, but paid for with the funds from members dues. And the president's membership dues were waived. He hunted all 2000 acres for free. In the cases of violations of law, the next step was to notify the local Conservation Officer. Which I did, and am not ashamed of, and which I will do again if necessary. In a couple of cases, the officer could not get there right away, so I made the arrests myself. Again, I have NO regrets for these actions, and would repeat them if the situation called for it. My son and I want a place to hunt, where ALL members share equally in the financial burden, the physical labor of maintaining the property, and the opportunity to hunt all parts of the property. My wife, daughter, son-in-law or grandson(s) may join us occasionally. We mostly hunt deer, but also enjoy some small-game hunting as a warm-up. My son got a bow for Christmas, and has practiced very hard. He wants to try bowhunting deer and/or hogs. We have not hunted turkeys, but my son has said he wants to give it a try. Water on the property, or on the border of the property would be a BIG plus. That boy would rather fish, than eat when he's hungry!! We don't have a camper, so we want to get into a club with a clean place to stay, which as also QUIET ENOUGH TO SLEEP!!! If we have to, as long as we have a place to get a hot shower, we can camp in our tent. We did that for the whole hunting season in 2009-2010. I have no problem with a person of legal age having a drink or two at the end of a day. After all chores are done on club work days. On hunting days, after ALL hunters are back in camp and ALL guns are put away for the night. I do have a problem with someone getting so drunk that they forget others and forget their manners. Or who becomes obnoxious or talks or behaves in a vulgar manner around my wife or children or grandchildren. Or gives alcohol to someone not of legal age. Or who drives a vehicle, or operates machinery, or who in any way handles a gun, while or after drinking. I lose patience with a person like that very quickly. There, you know exactly where I stand. I am currently working three jobs, and filling in occasionally on two others, to raise and save the money necessary to get into a good club. I think I have enough now to pay reasonable dues. If you know of a club in the south half or so of Alabama, that you think may be a good fit, please reply here or shoot me an email at -- [email protected]
12. Speaking from 23 years law enforcement experience - DO NOT USE MACE OR ANY OTHER CHEMICAL IRRITANT ON A PERSON WHO IS CARRYING A GUN!!!!!!! YOU WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY BE SHOT OR SHOT AT!!!!!
13. Pic from my 2006 vacation.......... One of the top ten most beautiful places in the world....... The Pinto Ranch, at Moran Junction Wyoming. This is where the movie "Shane" was filmed.
14. Many years ago, in junior high school, I once had a teacher who was convinced of the "indestructibility" of an egg, and told the class that it was impossible for a human to squeeze an egg, end-to-end, hard enough to crush it. I had never before heard that theory, and called BS. He produced an egg from his lunch box, and told me to give it a try. He had to go out and buy lunch.
15. Still has SPOTS, but weighs probably at least 40-50 pounds, and ALREADY has ANTLERS!!!
16. If it had black tail feathers, it was not an albino. Albinism is lack of pigment from the entire body, thus the eyes are pink. The described coloration, if the bird is in fact a Canada and not another species, would most likely be from a genetic anomaly similar to that which causes a "piebald", or part-white and part-normally colored deer or other animal. I once hunted a gold-colored crow for two days. Saw it several times, but never in a position for a good shot, with gun or camera.
17. Absolutely GREAT!! This will be copied and sent to everyone on my e-mail list, and posted in other forums!!
18. I can't decide if I like the one at 3:40, or the one at 4:18 best. The one at 3:40 shows better form than most, but the one at 4:18 is RINGIN' that steel target!!!!!
