I spoke to the wildlife biologist for that unit (Greg Hyatt). He said that the 292 (Unit 63, type 7) tags were added after the draw was over, so they were sold as leftover tags. He said that there will not be as many available in 2013 and may not be any unless this winter is unusually mild.

I had mine replaced by an experienced pro and I barely had to mess with the pins after letting it stretch for a few weeks.

The Golden Eagle is impressive...so no need to exaggerate. They don't pick up children or anything that weighs more than a few pounds, at least not for anything more than a few seconds. As you can see in the videos, they can kill larger animals (although I am pretty sure that most of the wolves and coyotes were attacked by trained eagles - you can see the strings tied to their legs) and/or drag them off of a cliff, but they can't fly away with them. I am also fairly certain that that video is a conglomeration of several different videos that were posted on Youtube, not filmed altogether.

It is/was hardly a cliff anyway. A 10% across the board cut isn't even enough to balance the annual budget. It only reduces how much we are adding to the national debt. Also, anyone that works with/for the federal govt knows that we could cut 10% with no impact to services provided.

I used to think that the whole "liberal biased media" was a conspiracy theory...not anymore. They only report the news that supports their point of view. The case you linked to was a perfect example of what we 2nd Amendment supporters have been saying all along, so it doesn't get to see the light of day.

I am looking at the draw statistics for unit 63, type 7 from 2012: http://wgfd.wyo.gov/web2011/Departments/Hu...20120002493.pdf If I am reading it correctly, there were 292 tags available, but 0 applications. Does anyone know if that is a typo or why there weren't any applications for that unit/type? Looks like it might be a new type for that unit...maybe no one knew about it?? Thanks in advance.
