I'm down for whatever name the group comes up with.

I've got a couple of spots like that on the property I hunt. Unless the deer have been conditioned to look up, they won't spot you ( generally), the others have given some good advice also. Yes try and hide you silhouette as much as possible, but also remember your scent will give you away first. Make sure your way into and out of your spot doesn't give them a reason to be alarmed!

On my way to a job site in a dump truck. My coworker looked over at me and said "Son this means war." I'll never forget how quiet that day was. Not one plane flew over (we were working near a small airport). We wrapped up our day early. None of us knew exactly what devastation had occurred. I'll never, never forget those images. Nor will I ever forgive those responsible.

RANT TIME This is not our fight, they don't need us, we don't need to jump into someone else's civil war. Now is the time to bring our troops home and worry about ourselves. Not sure I could hunt only in Sat. my schedule doesn't allow for weekday hunts, plus there ain't no vacation time for it either ( haven't seen one of those in 15 years)

I'm in the same boat as you, right now I'm waiting for the paperwork to come back for trademarking and registering my name. Already on FB. I have everything in order except for the business license. That has to wait on my Tm and ® paperwork. Good luck my friend, maybe I'll see you on Fb!

Eh, I've never believed the lunar cycle when it comes to killing deer. Full moon or not, there are a million different reasons why we do or don't see them. I've had good luck with the full moon. I've had good luck with both high and low pressure systems moving in. Hot, cold you name it. For me, I'm more concerned with scent control. I think that's where we make the biggest mistakes, along with how quietly we enter and exit our locations. The stuff I worry about is what I can control.

Yep, they lost but my Dawgs won yesterday so I'm good. In all honesty I'm a bigger college football guy. But I gotta root for the home team, well except the Hawks. Yeah that Jets game was insane!
