superguide Posted December 23, 2005 Report Share Posted December 23, 2005 Re: Official Boston Bruins thread The only thing worse than fighting somebody who thinks they're going to win is fighting somebody whose afraid to lose-I've seen some tough guys get pretty good whippings from little guys who were fighting for their lives. You should see the boys go in the WHL-they take off their helmets and go at it mano a mano. The weirdest game I ever coached was in AA PeeWee-we were down 9-3 going into the third period (weak goaltending)-I just told the boys win every shift and our tender will shut the door for us. The boys went out and scored 11 straight goals in the final period and we won 14-10. I gave each kid a photocopy of the scoresheet in case they ever got to thinking they couldn't battle back. I am figuring traffic to be pretty heavy so I think if I can get past Hartford and those other southern CT cities along 84 early, I should be good for the home stretch. You all take care.... I know the Tucker's personally I cowboyed in Darcy's hometown when I was younger and trust me he's a tough hockey player-scored a sweet goal last night I thought. I've watch Allison play for some time for Boston this boy is a big strong talented skater, it takes way more than what happened last night to bring him down,,, was it a hook ?? YES,, but it was also a dive on his part both times wich he didn't get called for.... and that's a farse as far as Im concerned... You've seen enough of my posts to know that when the Bruins loose Im the first to come down on thier case, as is Mike... but last night the Leafs had alot of help from the refs.... As far as Tucker goe's,, he has made his own REP. ,, but I don't disagree about his talent, because that he has tons of,, and yes his goal was a sweet one, but remember that also came on one of those Allison calls... Guess we'll just have to wait and see,,, Team Canada looks to be the stronger of the 2 teams to me..... but I will definately be routing for the Red, White and Blue of course... Hey as long as you don't like basketball, we may let you stay This thread is for hockey lovers, no matter what team you like, even if it is the dingo Flyers The games on OLN suck IMO. Lucky for us Bruins fans here in the North East, they show all the Bruins games on NESN except when the games are on OLN which isin't that often.
