Anyway, one of the jockeys LB, is a former Bruin. He was a D and never scored much but was a fighter. I can't remember him and I only know him as LB. Anyway, we are doing a Toys for Tot function next Saturday and he's going to be there to help us out and do a show from there. Rumor has it that he knows alot of the Bruins including Thorton pretty well. We are going to try and have him hook us up with more tickets. I don't think it was a great trade for you guys, however something had to give. With some new coaching I think you guys would have been fine though. Did I call it or what Hey don't get me wrong, Thorton is good but as a "C" he sucked IMO. No leadership. He used to be tough and ever since he got his butt kicked, he turned soft just like the coach is. I seen this coming a mile away man. Don't be surprised if the coach and GM are gone shortly too. If you are going to trade players atleast trade for equal worth..... And of the 3 from San Jose not one of them is what I think the Bruins needed at this time...JMHO.... And Im not alone in this analogy either here is the poll that is being held on the Bruins Web site... The Bruins are better for making it ..... 8.15% This wasn't a good trade for Boston ..... 45.97% Way too early to tell ..... 10.93% I'm still shocked ..... 34.95% I thought with all of the years I have watching and following this sport I had seen it all,,, but apparently NOT.... Our seats were equipped with oxygen but worth it. We went down to the glass during the warm-up....I was about 6 inches (throught the glass) from Hal Gill. That feller there is big Couldn't of asked for a better game. They beat the best team in the NHL and it was a shut out. I like the fact that Boston still supports their team. The B's aren't doing that well but still they have near sell out crowds at each home game. We started by going to Hooters there on Canal Street, right down from the Garden. Joe Thortons roomate works right next store to the Hooters and they were saying that after Joe got the call that night, he came down and was sitting out in his truck and it looked like he was crying. Don't know the truth to that but that was the rumor on canal street. I definatley want to go to more Bruins games. But the next time I go, I am taking a train. I guess it's my fault". I thought that was funny. Hey if it helps the team, go for it. I think he sucked as a "C" anyway. The Corel Center is on the west end of the city. So basically if you're on 417 going west at the start of the game, or east at the end of the game, good luck.
