bigbearguy Posted February 4, 2006 Report Share Posted February 4, 2006 Next week I am going to the Eastern Sport Show in Harrisburg. I am planning on going on an Elk hunt in 2007. This will be my first out of state hunt and I was wondering what are some questions I should be asking the outfitters at the show to ensure I get a quality hunt. stevebeilgard Posted February 4, 2006 Report Share Posted February 4, 2006 Re: Outfitter Questions what state do you plan to hunt in? make sure he is licensed, and a member of the state outfitters association. call the game warden in his town/territory. ask the game warden a simple question..."would you pay to hunt with this outfitter if you wanetd an elk?" then, listen to his answer closely. if you want to hunt in wyoming, i can help.
