Some friends of mine have the same problem. They just checked out their mobile home roof and the entire thing has dry rotted out. They don't have the money for a new one yet though so are just praying real hard for now. Hope it gets fixed right this time! Good move on the dounuts by the way!! horst Posted May 6, 2006 Report Share Posted May 6, 2006 Re: Nightmare Renovations Thats a mess Buckee, I wont even work on trailers any more for that reason, the older ones had pretty poor framing and a lotta moisture problems it seemed like.We were gonna replace a window in one when I was first getting into this and by the time we replaced all the rot under the window we had tore the whole floor out and replaced it in about 1.4 of the trailer When you do get the rot tore outin em theres usually very little left to reattach things to as well Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
