And you're right the Hendrick Garage had better be more concerned about the DNF's and mechanical failers than the bumping that goe's on in these races.... I really thinks Jeffs comments were more out of frustration than anything else,,,,, He of all the drivers out there knows that pushing and drafting at tracks like this has to take place....or your going to the back.. and in one big hurry.... There wasn't a car on the track that didn't get bumped or did the bumping at one point in that race...its a part of the race. Helton/Nascar only warned JR about bumping "too hard" after Jeff complained. I don't think anyone else would have complained if JR pushed them to the front. JR and Gordon both got taken out of the race by someone else's mistake. Gordon was in a bad position and well, thats life at restrictor plate racin'. JR was on the other hand in the lead...no one spun in front of him and had no place to go. I would think in the two situations...JR would be more fustrated than Jeff and he took his interview with a little more class. Bottom line, JR still has a chance at winning the championship and Gordon needs a small mircle. I'll go out on a limb and say mathmatically Gordon could still win...but it ain't going to happen...his chance for a championship is down the toliet PERIOD Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hey, if Im ticking someone off with my insight, I apologize,,, but it has been said in here many times before ,, you don't slam into people on Super Speedways,,, but wne one certian driver does it it's OK,,, yeah he didn't wreck anyone,, but maybe thats because the one he did it to has the talent to hold on to his car and not panic himself into a wreck... What do ya think ?? Just maybe ??? Enough on this race for me,, this one has ran more than it's course before someone really gets out of hand over a simple race none of us benifit from....
