I was informed this morning that our sales department would be clearing out or liquidating some items in our Realstore over the coming weeks and our Forums caps and decals were on the list. I asked them to let me post something in here first in order to make sure anyone that wanted one could get them before they were gone. They have had them listed for $5 each and on clearance for a while (I think there are about 100 of each left). So, I asked them to give me a coupon code (FORUMS) for you all and with it offer the caps for $4 each (which was about what they cost to have them made) and let me throw in a free decal with each one sold. You can use these apps to view and post comments and photos here in the forums. Has anyone downloaded them yet? If you haven't yet and have a compatible phone, please do and leave comments on how they work for you. Like any newer app there might be bugs or fixes that we want to get fixed early on. I hope you all have had a chance to check out our new blog line up. This post is a question but at the same time if you haven't checked out our new blogs, it's a request as well. We have finally gotten a line-up of the industry's best up and coming writers and they are ready to interact with you daily on every hunting and outdoor related subject under the sun. These folks are also insiders that (unlike me) can write and produce videos that let you in on some of the going-ons at Realtree and while we are on the road, at the shows, in the office and on the hunts. The blogs have only been going up for 2 weeks and there are already good ones posted on all sorts of things. Things like the step by step process for beginning bow hunters, the best new 2012 ATA and SHOT products, a behind the scene look at the massive Realtree SHOT booth, and a humorous look at what many called "hideous" sweater vests we had to wear at the shows! If that's not enough, our pretty and petite PR editor Stephanie Mallory enjoyed her first attempt at shooting a machine gun at SHOT and it almost took her down! And the political side of hunting is covered also. Our outdoor news blogger Barbara Baird takes on the "no hunting on Sunday" laws in Pennsylvania and is looking for your opinions! So please take the time to read their posts and don't be shy. Leave comments and mix it up with them. I hardly call that partying by GA standards, but it was interesting and fun. To top it off, I was back in my room by 9:30 PM, which was a good thing !

It was great to meet you Ross and I was glad we hooked up on the last day of the show when everything had slowed down and we could just sit for a while and tell stories. The others were Bill Konway (Billkay) and Gregg Lake (Snapper). Having our forum members meet up with us at the shows has always been something I've looked forward to. S
