  1. Here in Grayling, Mi. the rifle start at Nov. 15th, would find the buck pole here almost full, but this year had 3 deer at noon. I don't understand, it was cold, and we had snow cover. I here there was only 6 at closing time ??. too_

  4. I am getting a new Savage bolt action rifle, and it has been , well over 20 years, since I have had one. Would like to hear opinions on what lube would be good to put on the bolt, and the action around it ? I want it to be as smooth operation as it can. Thanks ahead of time. Mike too_

  15. Thank you all, sorry about not providing more info, it is a H&R Ultra Slug Hunter in 20 ga. It does have a rifled barrel, that will shoot up to 3" ammo, and has an attached scope base. So far I have read some reviews with some favorites, Remington Accu Tip slugs, Lightfield sabot slug, and Hornady SST Slugs. Unfortunately many don't mention if they use the 23/4" or 3". I know the people in here will not steer me wrong. :gun1: I don't have a scope for it yet. thank you all. too_
  16. Trying to buy a deer shotgun that will cover alot of areas. Have a few questions. I want a 20 ga. For those who have info, what is the best, 2 3/4" or 3" slug ammo ? Of course I want accuracy, and . power out to at least 100 yards. Please give me opinions, and thank you. too_

  23. Todd, glad you are almost throught it. I have been there also, and not too suprised on how many members have had it before either. I have gone through some nasty pain before, and that takes the cake LOL. Nothing else has brought me to my knees !!! too_
