I would guess a fox squirrel also. We have them all here in Mi. Black and grey are the same type, just different colors. Now fox are usually quite larger. I suppose it might be a mix, but I really doubt there is any red's involved, they are too small. too_

I haven't been to my sporting goods store in awhile, but I would feel better getting 1 more box of .35 Rem. I looked them up on the sites that sell ammo, and didn't see any increase, but the shipping is so high, not worth it. If any of you have a favorite site for buying ammo at a decent price, please let me know. :gun_bandana: too_

Wife and I are going to Pizza Hut in about 1/2 hour ! . They are by far, the best large pizza, $10, with any toppings you want. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it :yes: too_

Hello Ruth. I have a changed a few strings out, and always found them to stretch out some at first. Maybe with today new and improved ones, that may not be an issue. I would buy a pretty good one, seeing you don't replace them that often. too_

Always a good post ! I pretty much use my Hoppe's BoreSnake in my .35 Rem. In my barrel, I like Butch's Bore Shine. After cleaning, I will run a couple patches soaked with Rem. Oil down the barrel, and leave it. On the exterior, The Rem Oil on a cloth does a good protection on the metal surfaces. Wipe down good, if storing it for a lengthy time. In between, I use a silicone cloth to wipe any finger prints or whatever. too_

Did you happen to tell if ammo pricing went way up on other caliburs ? too_

I don't own several rifles like I did at one time, but carrying a Marlin 336 lever in .35 Rem. using the Hornady leverlution in 200 grn. A great cal. for where I I hunt in Northern Michigan. Have a Bushnell Trophy XLT 3x9x40 on top. too_

A story I read today was saying Walmarts were quickly selling almost all their whole firearm inventory in certain states. They also stated that they plan on continuing to sell firearms, the ( so called bad ones ) also. I read that on yahoo, and we know they only tell the truth. LOL. too_

I heard something today about banning semi-auto rifles. That is pretty much all I used for most of my adult life. I had to sell most of my guns and this year I bought a lever action, hoping the fools wouldn't touch it. :no: I'm so pissed, I can't say any more. Being a long time moderator in here, I hope we all can keep some sort of cool about what is coming our way. too_pointer
