You would think here in Michigan we would have lots of the white stuff, but no, raining off and on the last couple of days, and pretty green out. Drove by the lake today, and looking through the fog, the ice is just a skim . ! I'm not complaining, but wife and I are wrapping presents this afternoon, and it just doesn't seem very Christmas see out. :turned: too_

That height would be o.k depending what you have for coverage. I always preferred good limbs to climb, and usually around 15' to 20' feet high. Always pick a place where you have some camo for a back ground. too_

Not even close, the deer. Hogs have a very thick shield around and behind the shoulders. Behind a deer shoulder is the ideal shot placement, and an arrow can easily fly right threw if your broadhead is sharp. too_

Love your stories, thanks. Although I didn't get a deer this year, I can say I had a great season, hunting alot with my best friend, and felt half a## decent. It has been many years since I could hunt as much. I am actually already looking forward to next season, and what I might do different. Long ways away for me, but with Gods blessing I'll be around. I really enjoyed reading about all the hunts and pics. :clap: too_

Well, back from hunting. Another day without deer LOL. I might go out tomorrow for awhile, seeing it is the last day. Having problem getting motivated. ! I have never had a season like this one, ever ! Private land and a ton of carrots seems to be the key :gunsmilie: too_

My rifle season here in Mi. has been a bust. I'm going out for my last hunt very soon, and sure would like to bring the venison home ! too_

Hello all. My rifle season ends Friday. I sold my 2 muzzleloaders a few years back. So I'm pretty much done for the year. Wish me good luck tomorrow when my wife will drop me off. I can shoot any deer I see, have an antlerless permit. A big congrats on all . Hope you have a great season. too_
