In most cases, the deers stomach will bloat up, clean it really well, and wipe the cavity with a damp rag. Cut away any meat that looks bad. I think the temps probably saved that deer. too_

One thing that occurs to me, in the rain getting fletchings wet on your arrows. Not so much on the plastic ones, but feather as can be affected. I have shot a number of deer in the rain, and snow, but it being light really helps. too_
