Hello. I really don't mind leaving my stand after dark. I usually do so I don't scare any more deer than I have too. Lots of coyotes around, and when start to holler, it gives me the creeps. I imagine I walk out a little faster on those nites LOL. One nite while tracking a deer in a swamp late, a bobcat let loose with a couple of screams. I don't know how many have ran across them before, but they compare it to a baby hollering, and I agree. :wacko: I will never forget the time when I left my stand after dark, walked up to my truck, and all **** broke lose. I had a flock of turkeys that had roosted right about the truck. I came close to filling up my drawers on that one ! too_

O.K., found this place on web. I guess they specialize in boresnakes LOL. BORESNAKE 35 CAL RFL CLEANER Is this what I need ? Price is a little more than others, but I'm hoping this will work. too_

I really need to buy one, want to make sure I get the right one first. I cleaned my rifle after shooting a box through it Sat. and found out I really don't have the proper size brush, or cotton swag. I see at Midway they have a boresnake that fits 30-30, and up. Would that work for me ? The snake I have is way to small. ! thanks for the help. too_

I have a new deer rifle for this season which makes me real excited,, and after a drawing today from the DNR, I got an anterless hunting permit also. :clap: Bucks are hard to come by around here anymore, and it's been many moons since I shot a deer . Hey Ruth. What kind of accessories come with it ? Any bullets and powder included ? That can cost a bunch right there. I think it might be a good deal also if you don't have to invest $$ to equip it . too_

I do not have a 30-06 right now, but had several in the past. They were Rem 742, 7400 semi-auto. I shot pretty much nothing but the Rem. Corlokt. Here where I live in Northern Mi. a 100 yard shot is even kind of rare. The price was great, very accurate, and I believe I used the 150 grain. In my .35 Rem. I'm shooting Hornady leverlution 200 grn. :gun2: too_
