  6. I sure hope you all some great hunting. Here in Mi. I think the second week, and 3rd week in Nov. seems pretty "rutty". It really depends alot on the weather I believe. Our rifle season starts Nov. 15th, can't wait. too_
  7. Awesome buck Tom. CONGRATS. Did you happen to see any injury on him that might of led to the deformed left side ? too_

  10. I think its very cool. I have one done like that on my hog I shot in Tenn. I didn't do it but it looks nice. I don't know why I never tried it on a deer, but after seeing yours I think I will if I ever shoot a buck again !! LOL. too_

I'm sorry to hear this. Prayer goes for you to get better very soon. Do what ever you can so they don't open you up for a bypass, I am not the same person since I had one. take care too_
  14. Been awhile, hope everything is going great for you.! too_
  15. Thanks for sharing your first buck story. I think we all can remember our first bow kill. Welcome to Realtree, hope you stay. too_
  16. WOW, congrats, awesome buck. That gets my blood pumping for sure  too_
  17. There is a good chance they might come back. I think it's very important that the wind is correct so they don't smell you. too_
  18. DARN, I'm not sure if I could hold my sights steady enough on that one LOL. too_
  19. I do not leave any markers if I possibly can. I have to hunt public lands. I might take my little hatchet and knock a little bark off, but that is it. Once it snows it really doesn't matter. The lazy " hunters " can follow the tracks in. I am so wishing I could hunt private land like I use to back in my early days  too_
  20. My dad brought me up using the folding buck knives, I now have 3, and they seem to hold an edge pretty well. I must have at least 10 other knives of different brands, but really don't use them. too_
  21. Just FYI, this post started at April of this year. Here in my part of mich. it is down to around $3.52, and thats the best in quite awhile. too_
