I sure hope you all some great hunting. Here in Mi. I think the second week, and 3rd week in Nov. seems pretty "rutty". It really depends alot on the weather I believe. Our rifle season starts Nov. 15th, can't wait.

I think its very cool. I have one done like that on my hog I shot in Tenn. I didn't do it but it looks nice. I don't know why I never tried it on a deer, but after seeing yours I think I will if I ever shoot a buck again !! LOL.

I'm sorry to hear this. Prayer goes for you to get better very soon. Do what ever you can so they don't open you up for a bypass, I am not the same person since I had one.
take care

I do not leave any markers if I possibly can. I have to hunt public lands. I might take my little hatchet and knock a little bark off, but that is it. Once it snows it really doesn't matter.
The lazy " hunters " can follow the tracks in. I am so wishing I could hunt private land like I use to back in my early days

My dad brought me up using the folding buck knives, I now have 3, and they seem to hold an edge pretty well. I must have at least 10 other knives of different brands, but really don't use them.
