I ordered a Tasco Red Dot for my Marlin.22. Who in here have, or have had, a red dot or something similiar ? I never had one, but sure look like alots of fun. I would like your opinions on how you like them ? I didn't spend much money on this. If I really like it, might buy a better one in the future. :cowboy: Thanks all. too_

I sure agree with you on wasting time. I hope your right Artie. I believe I want to buy CCI mini mags. I have had really good luck with them in semi's before. I'm pretty sure I have around 300-400 rnds. on hand right now, but heck, I can shoot them up in an afternoon LOL. I'm waiting for my Tasco Red Dot to come in. too_

I am putting this here in the lounge to get the most traffic. As some know, I just bought a new Marlin model 60 .22. I wanted to get a semi-auto before the new laws might take affect. Anyways, I bought it at a very large retailer, and they did not have one box of .22 shells to sell. They also had a sign up that stated a limit of 3 boxes when they had shells. I have looked at all the major companies over the net to see if they were out, and they were. Not even taking back-orders ! I guess it is my fault for not buying what I needed before the panic, just didn't think that rimfires would be affected, dang !! :hammer1: too_

Thanks much for your info. I see alot of sites about doing the camo, I should of asked for anyone that has tried the camo before. It seems that the prices are between $85-$90. I love to customize my rifles, and my Marlin would be alot of fun !! too_

Hello all. I just bought a Marlin 60 .22lr. with a black synthetic stock. The camo stock I wanted has been discontinued. It's been awhile ago, but remember places to send items you want cameoed, some sort of dip that transferred on your item. Hoping someone can steer me the right direction for info. I want to hear your opinions on the red dot, or aim point, for my Marlin .22 model 60. I have never had the red dots, or else,. Please let me know if you have any help with the model 60., ? I love this .22 too_

Thanks for your reply. I have had a 10-22 in the past, and the stock did not fit me at all. I layed away today, the Marlin 60, in black synthetic stock. My gun store will sell me one for $165. It is the lightest at 5 pounds. It's been awhile since I have had a .22, really looking forward to getting it to the range. I'm thinking on putting on a Aim point, or something similar, if I can find one that mounts on the top of rim fires rifles. I'm concerned about the talk of maybe outlawing semi-auto's that would hold more than 10 shells. This rifle holds 15 shells in the tube. too_

Hello all. I'm going to buy a .22 rifle soon. I want something in semi-auto, good price, and light weight. Looking on line, the Marlin # 60, fits all my needed. Although every site I looked in, were all out of about all their guns LOL. Anyone in here own one, or in the past ? I would like opinions please. I want to stay under $200 if possible. Any other advice on any make, model auto or lever action. too_
