  1. Yes, I punched in for medium sizing. I may have to try it on small. Thanks.
  2. A lot of the Amish up where I hunt, raise deer as a business venture. They have acres and acres of land, and I could see where some nice wild ones might start hanging around even in those areas. Dawg
  3. I'm still trying to get my pics online. This is frustrating, but I put a post in the general forum in case someone can give me some advice. Dawg
  4. I'm racking my brains as to how to get my photos online for the forums. I signed up for Photobucket, but can't seem to get them uploaded into that site. They are now saved to my computer in "My Pictures". Any suggestions? Thanks. Dawg
  5. Our group always hunts public land in Shawano and Waupaca County. Only one deer came from Waupaca County this year. We got a total of 12 deer for the pole. I got a doe on Monday, a half rack 4 point on Wednesday, and a nice 8 pointer on Friday that dressed out at close to 210 pounds. I has 2 very nice dagger points on it, and is already at the taxidermist. Overall, the numbers are very low, as I think we did good because alot of big groups were not driving everything out until the second Saturday. I keep in touch with many people in the state, and no one did good. The bow hunting really stunk, as I never saw a deer. My cousin was out almost every day, and he says he saw a grand total of 15 deer with the bow. He finally got a doe in range, and that was his deer...he usually gets a nice buck every year! The DNR needs to re-structure the hunt, as wardens up where I was hunting said the whole state will probably be earn a buck next year. Dawg
  6. Hi folks. I just got back from the 9 day gun hunt. Hunting was good for our group this year, and we put 12 on the deer pole. I shot a doe on Monday, a half rack buck on Wednesday, and a real nice 8 pointer on Friday. Here is my big dilema though, I used my tag on Wednesday to burn the buck tag for this year. That one only has 4 points on it. In Wisconsin, you can group bag, and I had my son tag my nice 8 pointer. I'm not sure if I can count the 8 pointer towards our total, or not as I killed it, but don't have my tag on it. If I can ever figure out how to get scanned pictures in here, I will get the pics in here. Nice buck, KTM. That is a dandy. Dawg
  7. Congrats to all who scored so far. Will go north again on Wednesday, but the cousin isn't seeing many deer. Might not do much, but need to get out again! Dawg
  8. Please send my condolences to the family too. Thanks. Tom
  9. Good job on the doe, nj. I went out for 2 days with the bow up north, and saw zilch. Then, I went out for the T-Zone hunt, and saw 1 spike opening morning. Didn't see any deer the rest of the doe hunt. I'll go north again in a week or 2, and try again. Dawg
  10. Good to see you onboard, Tink. I guess that kind of blows out the news that I read many moons ago, that you had died... Nice to see that it wasn't true. Tink's 69 has pulled in piles of deer for me throughout the years. A great product, at a great price. You sir, are legendary, and it's great to hear about your accomplishments. Dawg
  11. Just checking in. Haven't been out yet. It's been too hot around here. Might go north this coming weekend. Dawg
  12. A little while...give or take a day or two... Dawg
  13. Got a letter yesterday from Headquarters of the Marine Corps, stating that there is a study being done on Marines that were stationed on LeJeune, NC from 1957-1987. They have found 2 different chemicals that may be causing health issues in the men who were stationed there between those dates. I spent almost 2 1/2 years down there. There is a registry available, and anyone who served there is encouraged to sign up. Phone # 1-877-261-9782, or www.marines.mil, and let them know as soon as you can. The website has more info available. Dawg
  14. Bought a rangefinder from Hutchies. A great deal, super fast shipping and great comunications. A great person to buy from. AA++ Dawg
  15. Yep. Especially good on the bigger ones, as there is more meat. Dawg
  16. Usually there are stickers and signs available at the headquarters for free if you walk in. Or, maybe you have to donate to get them, but they are still available and your donation will fund the campaign that way. Dawg
  17. I would get ahold of someone in Human Services for your county, to see if there are any programs available for foodstamps, rental and heating assistance, etc. Because of your low income, you may be able to get Medicade also. Dawg
  18. Just checking in. Any name you folks decide is cool with me. Good luck to everyone. Dawg

    Palin is in

I agree with Strut. I'm feeling let down by this. She has great qualifications, but this just opens the door for Billary to possibly get in next term. Especially if McCain doesn't make it through the term. If mayhem takes place again during the term, if they get elected, Billary will be right there in 4 years to pick up the pieces. Just my opinion, but I'm really nervous too about the whole matter. Dawg
  20. Payment mailed today. I'll definitely put it to good use. Dawg
  21. Bought a Traditions Muzzle Loader from crazylegz70, and was impressed with the whole transaction. Fantastic gun, great communications and packaging. Folks, he described it perfectly, and is a great person to deal with. AAA++++ bulldawg
