As far as it being slow in there, you might want to take a look at post counts for each of the rooms. You'll find out that at over 53,000 posts it is the 4th most popular room on this forum. Thats the whole point behind the idea, this area of our sport is growing so fast we thought we would spruce up that section and organize it. Not that you and the other mods have not, this was in NO way a reflection on you guys. You do a great job It just seems that there is so much going on in the "Photography" side of things now ( Cuddeback LeafRiver and other commercial cams, Homebrews, Video cameras and trail cams and not to mention just plain digital or 35mm cams ) that breaking a few of them down would make things easier to find and for you guys to manage, post and help out or find information. I know what you are saying about the search button but it is a little easier and nice to look in a section dedicated to what you are working with. Photography section stays the same just a few more sections IF members want it. Nothing has been decided.

Re: Follow UP on Growl and Roar!!! I actually used both and was VERY happy with them. I did get a few bucks to come in from the growl and I find that they work better and just a regualr deer grunt. I liked the grunt sound out of these better than my old calls

[/ QUOTE ] Thanks Andrea, that aspect of hunting is growing so fast it will help members find what they need faster and get straight to the source instead of having to browse through allot of posts. To address a comment above the reason that section is not as busy as others is allot of members are going to other sites to find what they need when we can answer it all right here.

Ok guys here is the deal, I have been working with Scott on getting the Photography section of the site updated a bit. Being that trail cams and homebrews are so popular and our members having allot of the answers we were looking at expanding that area. We would like your input on what catagories you would like to see in there. I was thinking Digital Photography Commercial Trail Cams Homebrew Trail Cams Members Pics Keep in mind we cannot have 10 or 20 different ones so lets try and decide on 3 or 4 main areas. We can then have downloads for How To's and helpful documents etc. Lets hear your thoughts.

Re: Realtree Roadtrips??????? That slogan has been around a long time and fits the show and Michael just perfect. You cant say this is the first time you are seeing this. Any fan of RT or Michaels show should of heard of this by now. The Hat says just that will hunt for "FOOD" so where do you get the nice rack portion from ?

Thanks Finn I will give that a shot, I am trying to get some feedback on the following I traded for about 2 yrs ago for a homebrew trail cam that uses a Sony P31 and a PixController Board DSC-PXX-U When I first got it I set it up in the yard and used it for a day to make sure it worked and it did no problems, since then it has been sitting on the shelf. I took it out today as I wanted to start using it again put batteries in the holder and 2 in the cam. The camera powers up and I do see all the menus and the settings but the display screen stays black, even when I take a picture they show on the PC as just a black screen with the date and time on it. I think I might have a camera setting wrong or has the camera maybe gone bad ? I have checked the camera settings according to what they should be on the pix print out and they are all fine. As I said I can see all the menus on the cam screen, the flash works A1, but even the view finder before taking the pic is all black with just the setting showing ? By the way the cam has a white wire coming out of the bottom using an RJ11 connection to plug into the Pix board which also seems to be fine as the cam does trigger and take a pic when you walk by it or stand in front of it.
