I suppose that they were trying this at this time because of her age. If she waited she would not have a chance to old the record for being the youngest which her brother held at one time. I still leave it up to the parents regardless on how the liberals feels about it. Red... sorry but I usually only allow friends to say things like I lost it to me. I see zero difference in her sailing attempt than when I allowed my boys at 16 to be alone in the woods during shotgun or turkey season. I taught them the safe way and know they were mature enough to handle it. Toughest thing I have ever done is to allow my boys to grow into adults without trying to treat them like they were 5.

I do not have a problem with smoking restrictions as a whole. But it always seems funny on how it is okay to restrict them and then they are the first choice in raising taxes. Alcohol has more users so that is where the taxes should be also. $1.00 tax on a bottle of beer would help the shortfalls pretty quick don't you think? Then you have Vegans and PETA would ban the eating of meat since they say it is so awful also. Where do you stop? Sounds like quite a lot of liberal philosophies to me.

Been to there. I used to live right where a tornado touched down in NW Ohio. Umpired games at the high school that was damaged,been at the police station where the woman was killed. Guess I am lucky I moved away 13 years ago.

That is awesome Ruth. Really cool. This weekend while at a family reunion I discovered how many have lots of land down there for hunting and such. Guess who now gets to hunt there even without asking? One cousin who never even allows family on theirs has given me marching orders for next spring to turkey hunt with them. Another did it for muzzleloader deer...and etc etc etc. The cousin I stayed with said that we will sit on his porch with a gun this fall LOL

Wish I could help you out. Even though I was in the Daniel Boone Forest over the weekend I have zero clue on where would be best. I am supposed to go there for the muzzleloader season but it will be with family down near the Cumberland Falls area.

I like the time limit. If a post gets a response and then that post gets edited then it sometimes makes the replying post look strange and sometimes moot. Maybe just a little more time thinking before posting would be a better option?
