I liked how they said it was a "racing" deal!!!!!!!! LOL, jr. spun his tires...Truex went to the inside to avoid hitting jr. (like a good driver would)...KB decides he'll go to the outside of Truex making it 3 wide going into the turn (which a good driver knows won't work). Truex I don't think had a clue KB was there and came back up...KB didn't give and spun him out taking out alot of good cars!

They sure were quick to call that race...what was it...like 5-6 mins. after they got outta the cars? Soon as they called the race...Joey and crew didn't have their unbrellas up any more. They had several hours of daylight left...why not wait it out a little bit to finish the last 28 laps? Guess they figured Toyota needed another win...sorta like the 00 car winning too!

I really don't see what the point of this thread is? If the officers were wrong...whats going to change by posting it here? If they were right...whats going to change? If this was a long time member posting this for a vent...we could understand. But a new member signing up and making his very first post like this...I'm kinda lost at what the point of it is? What do you want to gain outta letting us know this story?

I'm going.... Between 2nd yellow and blue dots from the top...he's not looking at me...so he's not on to me. If my arrow hits true...its at least one lung and liver...he's done!

ditto...no shot there! I'd have to let him walk and see if I could stop him once he's passed and in a shooting lane quartering away!

This one is tough...he's not on to me...ears aren't alert...looking into the sun...looks more like a scent check. Provided I'm already at full draw...I'd put my 40 pin right on the 2nd from the top yellow! With that said...it would all depend on that doe feeding behind him...if she's walking...two steps and she's a canidate for being wounded...I'm afraid I might have to pass on him!!!!!

I would pass on this shot because she and her fawn know something is up...she is alert and looking right at me...her fawn's ears are back listening to me....everyone is about to abort the mission!

If she's walking...I want to stop her first. If she is standing and just stomping that left front leg...I'm smoking her with the 2nd yellow!

No bow fast enough to make that shot with him looking at you and 51 yards aways...he'll more than likely flinch, duck/jump the string...best case, you wound him and get lucky to hit something vital....No shot for me!

I'm thinking smack dead center of that square!

Had this same situation once (not as big) but just the same! I got to full draw....he stood there looking right at me...aimed low and he still "ducked" the arrow as he loaded up to run! There isn't a dot on that deer thats low enough for him not to duck under an arrow. He'll hear that twang from your bow long before your arrow gets there...esp. since he's already aware your there! I learned a lesson...I'll never shoot at a deer thats looking straight at me with both ears facing me...he/she is alert and ready. No shot for me!

I too have 2 .300 win mags...it is my "go to" cal. You made a great choice on the .300 Nice looking rig you got there!

Struts A-bolt was a .375 H&H...rechambered to .375 Wby. Whomper will whomp you if you ain't got a good hold...I shot it once...that was enough for me!

Lets see some pics! I'm leaning towards the 3" chamber in stainless and shorter barrel. I'm kinda liking the non-fluted cylinder too...not sure yet!

Guess it depends on how someone kills someone. To be honest...I know nothing about "how" he killed someone. From what I read here, he was drinking and driving? If so, and the accident was his fault...then yes I agree he should have gotten more. I was just stating why I knew the others got a stiff sentence!
