I was wondering if you had any luck with that yet. Maybe one of these days. The only good thing I can say about NM is they get the draw done quick and the refunds even quicker. I paid on the Credit card, and it was refunded in the same month before my close date, just like it never happened.

Two more days for applications. Got mine and Jake's done yesterday. Points for Jake, elk points for me, and if the odds remain about the same, I should be in the Gunnison area for third season deer.

Arizona is charging credit cards for the lucky ones that drew. This started yesterday, 3/18/17. Mine has not been hurt.

I was drawn with my 76 year old ex-boss for a cow elk hunt in Wyoming. This hunt will be more about him and less about me. Hopefully I can find him a cow.

I rode the train from Antonito to Chama a few years ago. Enjoyed the trip. Got a ton of pictures from the train of scenery. Then only stop I remember was the one for lunch. I don't believe that train stops for hunters, but it would be cool if it did.

The application for the draws are due by April 4th.

Got my Colorado Big Game book in the mail yesterday. The application deadline is April 4th for the deer, elk, antelope, moose & bear draw hunts. But even if you miss that date or don't draw, you can still get your OTC tags.

Got my AZ elk & Lope apps in this morning. Hunts for me, points for Jake. If you are planning on applying you have until Tuesday, the 14th. Seems like something else going on that day too.

If you are wanting to apply for elk or Lope's you have until Feb. 14th I believe to get it done.

Anybody wanting to apply in Wyoming for elk as a NR has until the 31st of January to get it done.

I made it. lol. No western hunts for me last year, went north of the border to Saskatchewan with a couple of guys I met here on RT. Had a good time, but did not hurt any deer. Sorry I have been AWOL here lately, will try to do better. Did you go to Colorado this past season?

yea, I got drawn in the random draw in 2011, 3 tags and 157 applicants and I got one. Felt pretty good. I will make it back one of these years.

Your posting of the website is kind of like planting a seed. Will have to see if it grows or not. I'm doing a Canada whitetail hunt this fall, if that goes well...... Looks like you could possibly get a black bear to go with it. Will be interesting to see this play out.

I think I will probably put in for the antelope & possibly elk. The deer hunt will conflict with a previously scheduled trip, so I will skip it. Probably skip the exotics too.
