I would vote for head to head, myself. That way you have the chance to "discuss" the upcoming game with your opponent each week.

Good deal, PDR. Antelope are fun to hunt. I enjoy hunting Wyoming. I've got to get Wyoming back into my schedule. Not this year and probably not next year either, but after that I should be able to arrange it.

That sounds like a great way to spend a month or so. Be sure and bring us a few pictures back.

I have it on a pretty good authority (my credit card) that Arizona is hitting credit cards for deer & sheep. I will be in the Kaibab this fall!!!! I went for a scouting trip this past weekend and saw a ton of deer. I will get some pictures posted tomorrow.

The first 7 pictures aren't showing for me. Looks like a great time!!! Enjoyed your pictures, definitely looks like something I would like to do someday.

12A West Early, According to Hunters Trailhead, last year NR with 7 points were 100% draw, I have 9 so I think it should be a sure thing unless.... A guy from the other site knows it pretty well and is supposed to give me a few suggestions. He helped Jake out on his ML deer hunt a few years ago in AZ.

The Arizona hunt I am pretty sure I should draw starts on the 24th. If I do indeed draw it, and I don't have a new project by then, might just take an extra week off and take you up on that. Will keep you posted.

Understand Charlie. I really thought I would be deer hunting in Co. this year myself. The point creep is out of control and sounds like it is only going to get worse if they do indeed increase the landowner tags soon. I have one last shot in Arizona for deer, if that tag doesn't come (unless something really weird happens I should draw) I will be looking at OTC elk in Colorado also. My somewhat of a game plan if that happens is try to figure out where I want to deer hunt in the next year or two and if they have OTC elk, hunt it to try and get a little lay of the land. I won't know until mid July on Arizona, but if I do end up in Colorado and you want to join me or me join you I would be good with that.

Go to the page where you can check your points, then when that screen comes up, right click and click on "VIEW SOURCE" it will look kind of funny but, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see something that looks like what I have posted below, basically, you have the species Deer, then current points 9, then weighted points 0, then year 2014. If your current points are 0, you drew your first choice.

Nope all negatives. I really wasn't expecting to get drawn, but it would have been nice. It looks like my last chance is going to be Arizona deer. Pretty sure I am going to be applying for one of the early 12's hunt, not sure which one yet, but with 9 points going in, unless something weird happens I should draw. Good luck, I would love to see the grip & grins. Was that Muzzy or rifle? I had 8 going in, went for 53 3rd season. Though I would have about a 50-50 chance. Looks like I got the second 50%.

Congrats on your draw CB!!!! For the second year in a row, I have actually been trying to draw a tag and struck out. The creep is killing me. Oh well, maybe next year. Looks like I will probably be hunting in the 12's somewhere in AZ. Unfortunately it will be the early hunts, will never have enough points for the late season.

I am hoping deer gets posted today. Nothing there yet though. I haven't ventured into the Colorado moose game...yet. Don't know if I have enough years left. Especially since the first three are throw-aways. Of course if I would have started in 2006 when I started deer, I would be a lot closer. Maybe next year.
