Go to this link. https://gf.state.wy.us/elsapplication/ELSWelcome.aspx If you didn't get points through the draw or didn't apply for a hunt this year but plan on going in the future, an extra point will help your success rates in getting drawn. Here is the cost for the points. Elk $50 Deer $40 Antelope $30 Bighorn Sheep $100 Moose $75

  7. http://www.lcsun-news.com/las_cruces-news/ci_15478153 Naked man hospitalized after drinking game leads to prosthetic leg being set aflame (5 p.m.) Sun-News report Posted: 07/09/2010 04:55:12 PM MDT LAS CRUCES - A 47-year-old Dona Ana County man is in a Texas burn center after a drinking game left him nude on the side of the highway with his prosthetic leg in flames. Sheriff's deputies learned that the victim and friends were drinking Monday and had made a bet that whoever drank the least would be set on fire, according to a news release. The victim told investigators that since he drank only six beers, the least amount, he agreed to let his friends set him on fire. The victim, who has a prosthetic left leg made of plastic, said his friends set his leg on fire, which spread to his buttocks and lower back area, causing severe burns. Not being able to stand the pain, the victim disrobed. His friends then decided to take him to the hospital but became "nervous and dropped the victim off" on U.S. 70, the release said. Witnesses reported seeing an individual walking on a U.S. 70 bridge with his leg on fire. Another witness reported that the victim was naked, while other witnesses reported that the victim was struck by two cars and even attempted to jump into passing vehicles as well into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer. When questioned by deputies if he had asked his friends to stop at any point in time while setting him on fire, he stated "no, he lost the bet" and therefore did not attempt to stop them. The man was taken from MountainView Regional Hospital to a Texas burn treatment center.
  8. Not all of the OTC are unlimited this year, if I remember correctly. There are a few units in the Gunnison area that are capped.
  9. Couldn't be there, but I wore my OTPG shirt to support you lucky fellas today. Have fun and get us some pics.
  10. That will be a shock coming from Vegas.
  11. Thank God that is finally over with.
  12. Never seen a horse that can drive, so it would be hard to call one a designated driver.
  13. Accept my check? That is usually a pretty good moment, as long as it is just one check and not two.
  14. I do also and did the same thing. Got a brisket going for this evening and for lunch I threw a rack of pork ribs on it. They turned out pretty good, hope the brisket does as well. Nothing like the smell of mesquite wood burning.
  15. Haven't seen him around lately, but this item was offered for sale in one of our early fundraisers by Steven aka racksie, rackso and a few other names probably. I don't exactly remember the details, but I think his aunt painted it. On the base plate is has "Let Freedom Soar 2002" painted on it in gold.
  16. Can't help you there Charlie, but if you want to go a little further west to 80/81 in the Platoro area, I know a little about it. Sorry to hear about the laid off bit, hope you get something soon. Good luck in both.
  17. Playing around with my camera. Took this picture and decided it was a good time to post it as a tribute to the 4th of July. As a side point, does anybody happen to remember this item?
  18. I am not sure of Montana's dates and how it coincides with the rut, but I am pretty sure the outfitters have guaranteed tags. Do not think that is the case in AZ or UT. I would say check Montana as they have tags for the outfitters and NM has a special draw for nonresidents using an outfitter. Those are probably your best choices. Hopefully if someone else has some more info they will chime in.
  19. Arizona & Utah both have rifle hunts, but you have no chance of drawing in Arizona and practically no chance in Utah unless you both have max points. New Mexico you will have a slim chance at drawing, but I don't think they actually have any rifle hunts in the rut. The first rifle in Colorado is usually after the rut. Not sure about Wyoming. Idaho I do not know when their hunts are, but they have been an open draw, no points, but are considering going to points of some type, so that may be a state to watch. Montana, I have not been able to figure out their draw system, so have not even looked at their seasons. A couple of other options out there that may fit your needs would be to change from rifle to muzzleloader. In most states ML are an easier draw and an earlier season than rifle (i.e. in or closer to the rut). Another option would be to look into buying a landowner tag. That way you can basically bypass the draw system. But for a rifle tag in rut, plan on using a lot of zeros on the check. The last option that I can think of right now would be to look into booking with an outfitter. Again, for a rut hunt, you will be paying a premium for it.
