  4. Last year's hunting season went like this: Oct. - Wyoming - 22 hours one way Nov. - NM - 14 hours one way Nov. - West Tx. 9 hours one way Dec. - NM 16 hours one way. Driving is good.
  5. Think I found the same one. Took me 2 hours to make sure it wasn't Realtree's:hammer2:
  6. He didn't owe me an apology or the majority of the people out here. He needs to do his apologizing at home, I could care less.
  7. Haven't done it, but would imagine a google search can probably get you there. Shouldn't be too hard.:hammer1:
  8. Another thing to consider is that in some states not only do you have to purchase a license, you also have to purchase a tag for the specific animal you are chasing and then a lot of states also require a habitat stamp of one sort or another to go along with the license and tags. The best thing to do is determine the states you are considering and then use the link listed above to get to the wildlife department of that state and research it for yourself. Unless you have one or two particular states in mind then someone can probably help you on here.
  9. Good luck to you. Think I will probably just go PP in Colorado this year. Got NM Oryx in, Utah everything, WY elk, AZ elk & lope. Other than NM don't really have much of a chance to draw any of the units I applied for, but if I do, it should be good.
  10. Bush to be honored by the Obama Administration The Obama Administration will be honoring the 43rd President of the United States. It has asked the U. S. Board on Geographical Names to name the fault-line in the tectonic area beneath Haiti after him. (Yes, there is such a board, created in 1890 and updated in 1947.) The area will now officially be referred to as "Bush's Fault"
  11. Congrats PFC Murphy and Thank You.

  15. Congrats to you. Hope you can get us some pics.
  16. As mentioned above, when a person enters the gate is open long enough so someone else can enter behind them. As for the storage paying for it, when you sign the contract that is covered in there. They are not responsible and understandably so. If they had to pay for everything that people would report as stolen there would be no storage facilities.
  17. Good luck, I would love to do that, but don't know if I would survive.
  18. Yea, two trains of thought on that. Either they put the lock on it, to make it look normal or they planned on coming back and getting more, or both.

    Thieves

I can't stand a thief. Went to my storage shed this morning, in a gated storage facility, when I pulled up I looked at the lock and noticed it was not mine. Double checked to make sure I had the right unit. Went to talk to the manager of the place to see if they had cut my lock off and put one on. He pulled up my records and said no. So together we go out to the unit, he asked me again if it was my lock, I said no, he put the bolt cutter to it and cut the lock off. First thing I notice is my 4 wheeler is gone, this is a 10'x30' storage and it is pretty full of stuff, a lot of hunting items, but on further inspection the only other item I could find gone was the aluminum ramps to load the 4 wheeler into the back of a truck. The mangaer has video of the last 14 days and he is going to check it and hopefully something will turn up. The police came out and took down the info, but I won't be holding my breath about getting it back.
  20. Glad you are home Steve.
