Sorry everyone but I struck out this year. I never even heard one gobble. I don't know why they were so scarce this year. I haven't heard of one bird killed around here this year.

Well no luck again today. I'm beginning to wonder if there's any birds still around here!

I have to agree with Tony. I go to the Charlotte races every year and the last 4 years I've seen it happen. A few years ago Bobby Labonte had it in the bag and a caution with 5 to go gave Jimmy Johnson back a half a lap and he won at the finish. They tried again last year but it didn't work.

Around here an Orange Palmer works great!

I'm glad she's OK. I've seen that more than once. Fishing can be hectic at times. Just be careful!

Nice Bird! I haven't had any luck here so far. I wish our season was a few weeks earlier. They were with hens over a month ago. But I'm not gonna give up. It was the last day of the season before I scored last year.

I think he's bit off more than he can chew but I'm still a fan.

Well opening day was a bust here. This weather is unbelievable. It was cold and rainy yesterday and we never even heard a tom. Was thinking about a short hunt in the morning but right now it is snowing like crazy and the wind is about to knock out the power. Hope I get this posted LOL. Anyways it'll get better soon I hope!

Re: Need help! We do real good on bluegills here. We also go out a few days before we want to fish and pour in about 50lbs of dogfood where we want to fish. That usually brings em in!
