Re: Carbon Force Dominators? I tried them and didn't like how light and flexible they were......might as well of been dryfiring the bow.
-
Re: It Passed From what I saw the ball is out too......except for spiking the ball.
-
Re: Gordon gets a fine I saw it again, and Kenseth was scared, LMAO. deerslayer, name one instance where Gordon "Cried" or "Whined"........and I don't wanna hear about him being mad about something that every other driver would have been ticked about too.
-
Re: It Passed They can still celebrate, but they can't use the ball as a prop, they have to remain on their feet, and when the ref says enough, they better listen or get the flag. [ QUOTE ] The Nfl aka No Fun League [/ QUOTE ] Real original.....if it's no fun, then don't watch.

Re: Gordon gets a fine [ QUOTE ] Whether you think it was right call by Nascar or not...bottom line...10K to Jeffy is like a nickel to us! I bet that fine really taught him a lesson...lol [/ QUOTE ] That's what makes any of these fines a joke.......why bother?

Re: these whitetails r something [ QUOTE ] I like the curtain rod Josh. [/ QUOTE ] Why thank you...note the Realtree curtains....I decorated myself.

Re: Tip for String Loops [ QUOTE ] So Josh,, should I wrap the String with serving before tieing it ?? [/ QUOTE ] Yes. [ QUOTE ] Do you wrap the entire length of the D-Loop??? [/ QUOTE ] You can, but you really only need the 1" in the middle served as this is where your release will be attached. [ QUOTE ] Can a D-Loop be too long??? [/ QUOTE ] In my opinion, Yes. You're always better off to get the string length right then worry about the loop after.
-
Re: Tip for String Loops [ QUOTE ] How long should the loop rope be to start with ?? [/ QUOTE ] I usually start with about a 4" piece. Tie one end on, then tie on the other end when I like the looks of the loop length. [ QUOTE ] Am I correct, that you burn each end and then blunt them over ?? [/ QUOTE ] You are correct, sir.

Re: Rhino is..... [ QUOTE ] is a turkey killing machine. [/ QUOTE ] My thoughts exactly.

Re: How much Practice? I might toss a few arrows during the week, but for the most part, the 3D tourneys are all the practice I get, and it's worked for me so far......1st in the state 2 years running.

Re: weird stuff on my new bow [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Wait wait wait! The string is on upside down! I'll bet the serving that goes all the way to the idler wheel is supposed to be in front of the wheel and wrap around the wheel when you draw it. It looks like the string is served where it runs through the cable slide. That serving is supposed to be on the string where you knock the arrow. I'll bet you could just have somebody press it and flip the string over. I used to work in a pro shop and when I first started, single cam strings confused the heck out of me! Keep us posted. [/ QUOTE ] This is exactly what I was thinking. The string is on upside down. Get it to a shop. This isn't the worst I've seen. Saw a PSE shipped to a dealer with the cam and idler swapped, lol. [/ QUOTE ] PSE made a bow that way on purpose. Storm had a bow that way too. [/ QUOTE ] The one I saw was a mistake. The dealer took it back and replaced it.

Re: Gordon gets a fine Sucks that he got fined, but appropriate. History of incidents where he got in trouble is a lot smaller then folks think they are. I like his new attitude..........

Re: Truex get the boot from Stewart?? [ QUOTE ] Ummmmmm Yeah I'm serious...Gordon even admited bumping Truex after the race and said that Truex has every right to be mad! Just funny to me that folks get bent when "they're" driver gets bumped...but can find any excuse in the word to make it ok for "they're" driver to bump someone else! [/ QUOTE ] Ain't that part of the fun?
-
Re: Truex get the boot from Stewart?? Truex slowed up right in front of Gordon. Truex got spun. Gordon didn't do anything to get hit......HUGE difference.
-
Re: Tip for String Loops One other point is that the serving will allow for a much smoother release......doesn't seem like it would, but it does.
-
For those of you that use a String loop, I'd like to offer some free advise. When you buy your loop, it comes as a simple nylon cord that you tie on your sting. Before tying it on, do yourself a favor and wrap it with serving then tie it on to your bow. This will lengthen the lifetime on the loop by as much as twice what you would normally get from it. I've been doing this for some time, and I don't know why I never thought to bring it up here before.

Re: Truex get the boot from Stewart?? [ QUOTE ] WOW!!.....when I made the original post here..I did not know Gordon had bumped someone out of the way..I did not see the entire race. I DO NOT DEFEND ANYONE WHO RACES DIRTY..My 24 car INCLUDED! [/ QUOTE ] He didn't. He got in the back of Truex but that was an accident. Truex slowed up and Gordon was right there so it was unavoidable and there wasn't anything to it until Truex tried to retaliate and Stewart spun him to avoid being taken out himself. Then later on Gordon passed Kenseth after Busch bumped him and Kenseth had lost momentum. He never got into Kenseth.

Re: these whitetails r something This is my biggest so far, but the photo doesn't do it justice.

Re: these whitetails r something What a beauty.

Re: $30 to put on cables? New, find out if they are planning to put all the add-ons in place for you too. I know of a few shops that charge $25-$35 for putting on string a cables but that also includes putting in a peep, kisser button, string leeches, and string loop.

Re: Truex get the boot from Stewart?? [ QUOTE ] I was disappointed that no one ran over Kirk Busch while he was making a snow angle [/ QUOTE ] I was really hoping for a run away car.

Re: This is a real shame Those "Gangstahs" tried that crap here in Vermont too, but they found out fast that they were no match for the Green Mountain Boys that have been here all our lives. They couldn't figure out why a bunch of farm boys wouldn't back down from them and why they couldn't scare us. They were here for a very short time before running back to Holyoke, Mass.
