I guess it would have to be me..I used to loose hunting buds pretty rapidly after just a single hunt or two because of the way I hunted. I usually would hunt from about an hour before sun up to about a half hour after sun down. Especially if I knew there was a big buck in the area. I just would not come out until I had to. I developed my own style.

I was spanked with a wooden paddle, board, rope, razor strap and whatever else could be grabbed at the time. I usually spanked my kids with my hand and when I really needed to get something across (although rare) I used a belt. and that is all I spanked my children with.

I have had 24 articles published for various on-line magazines and printed ones as well. Was fun but made NO money.

I scored 978 on the Bear game before my laptop crashed...LOL

I hope you all go and see it...I just had to give my 2 cents on it and I really want to see if I am just a staunch John Wayne fan and biased or if I am spot on.

Went to see the remake of "True Grit" today and it was as I thought...NOT GOOD at all...Bridges over-acted the part and Damon, well, was just Damon...dry.... I hope they leave well enough alone and try not to hack another great western that was a classic already..... Gave it a 3 out of a 10.

Would have been a whole lot more enjoyable of it were not for the advertisement interrupting the story... Giunta's story is really great...Like he said though, how many more stories are just as significant as his...Ordinary soldier....I doubt that...extraordinary soldier is more like it.

Well, they had to double the morphine I was on to help catch up with the patches they took me off of...Bad thing is, it is still such a heavy drug I have to go to Lebanon every week to get new meds right now... I am still a bit lethargic but have just about subsided all the jittery, jumping, scratchy feelings of withdrawals...I was told when I started this drug they just stopped that I would have to go into a 30-day drug rehab center if I ever came off of it...it was a real surprise to me when the doctor told me they insurance wanted to just cut it right off...The doctor (who is a great guy) called every day to check on me but I can tell you this was some rough poo poo.... Thanks for the prayers and wishes...I may just make it now...Still a week to 10 days to go to be clear but I am getting better.

Lost my mother to cancer this July...wish they would do something to find a cure....seems way too long without one.

As you all know, I had an accident back in 1988..broke my neck, back and both arms....In 2002 I re-injured my neck and back and extended those injuries by four making a total of 3 levels in my back and 3 in my neck...I was completely bed-ridden the first three plus years until a new drug came through called Duragesic or Fentanyl. It is up to 80-times more powerful than morphine and is a very VERY dangerous drug if mis-handled and even slight mistakes can kill you...I have been on this drug for over 4 years with only a few hiccups that were pretty serious but I managed to be ever more careful with it for the whole time. NEVER doing anything that would jeopardize me going to jail, dying or even loosing this medication. It has been a miracle for me and has even taken up to last year to get adjusted enough to try and go hunting again. I went for my monthly check up with my doctor and I could tell something was wrong when he came in...The first thing that came out of his mouth was "It is NOT your Fault, Norm". and began to tell me how I had never been on direct Morphine. A result of that was that Workers Comp was forcing him to take away my patches that have worked so well for me and to put me on an equivalent Morphine dose...remember (up to 80 times less than what I had been on) SO, cold turkey they remove my patches and out me on the Morphine... Let me tell you... If you have never had to take pain medications for extended amounts of time you just can't imagine the **** I have just been through...Since Sunday evening I have been sick, withdrawals so severe I thought I was going to die...I was awake for just under 4 days straight itching, twitching, nauseous and just the worst I have ever been in my life...Just because Workers Comp want to save money...I could have died as a result of this and there was nothing I could have done about it...All in the name of saving money...the health and well-being of the person versus money...I really wish the auditor who did this would be forced to go through what I am going through this week..it is not over yet.. I still have about a week left from what the doctors tell me... So.. Please lift me up just a bit in your prayers...I need help... Thanks
