  4. HENDERSON, Nev. - Tony Curtis shaped himself from a 1950s movie heartthrob into a respected actor, showing a determined streak that served him well in such films as "Sweet Smell of Success," "The Defiant Ones" and "Some Like It Hot." The Oscar-nominated actor died Wednesday evening of cardiac arrest at home in the Las Vegas-area city of Henderson, Clark County Coroner Mike Murphy said Thursday. He was 85. "He died peacefully here, surrounded by those who love him and have been caring for him," his wife, Jill Curtis, told The Associated Press outside their home. "All Tony ever wanted to be was a movie star. He didn't want to be the most dramatic actor. He wanted to be a movie star, ever since he was a little kid."

  14. Was just thinking how fun it would be to go out of state and deer. bear, whatever hunt with some of you and get to know you all...what do you think? Although I am disabled from a spinal injury, I can walk fairly well now but at times I can't walk at all...mostly when rain fronts come though. I can also pitch a tent or whatever to get to hunt...can't get much help around here...folks just want to hunt their own places for the most part and no one else. I would even have room for someone here but it is just a small farm I have...but we would be in the woods regardless. What do you think?? Anyone game? I need help with heavy stuff but other than that, I am good as gold!

  20. Not hard to stand or sit right behind the pet and put it right on skull and pull trigger...I have done it countless times and WILL do it again if the pet I love with all my heart is suffering and needs to be put down. NOT waiting 30 minutes or an hour or more driving to the vet. I take it to a familiar place and do it! It is out of respect for the animal and the way I was taught to do it when I was a kid. Does it hurt me deeply? YES IT DOES! But it is part of my responsibility as a pet owner and a friend. If you live close to a vet, fine, but others do not have them next door and sometimes the less suffering, the better in my book. I have done it both ways though. My wife does not see it my way and that is fine too.
  21. Have done it many times in the past and am sure will again in future. Sometimes you have to man up and take care of things.
