Prices for licenses and deer tags are increasing, as the quantity of deer tags available decrease. Sounds like the state is trying to offset some potential losses. Not that I disagree with that, it's about time the harvest limits are brought back down. Up until 3 years ago, I was part of the problem. If the state said I could shoot 6 deer, I tried to. Filling 4-6 tags per year was no problem. Years and years of hunters doing just that has taken a toll on the deer population...

Found them on Gunbroker, ranging anywhere from $90 to $200 per box of 20...I think I'll stick with my Hornady Critical Defense ammo for now.

Season is over for me as well, 1st year in I don't know how long I didn't fill a tag. Not a huge deal, I sure had fun this season spending time in the woods, and learned a few things along the way. Old dog, new tricks?

This was a little button buck that was downwind of me for several minutes. He knew something was up, but never really spooked... Button bucks are so dumb.

I saw that one, I think the lady was using it as part of her spa business. There was a footnote mentioning that over 170 people have used it since it was built to when the show aired, with several hundred on the waiting list.

Funny William, my 12 year old told me the exact same thing - except he thinks we should contact Pete on the show and have him build us one! Not sure my bank account could manage that one...
