Congrats again Kevin! Most golf outings that have those types of prizes buy hole in one insurance from a company beforehand. Those companies have strict regulations on which holes the bigger prizes go on. If you hit yours one the longest, hardest par 3, you might be eligible for the $10k. I know this from experience...I hit one a few years ago in an outing that had the hole marked as winning a set of Ping irons. Due to the length and handicap of the hole, the hole in one insurance company said I was only eligible for the 3rd best prize offered, which was a 2 night stay at a nice hotel. Might be worth looking into...

My younger brother Scott donated a kidney to my dad a few years ago, both were doing great almost immediately after the procedure. Scott was up walking around hours after the surgery, dad took a few more days, but the kidney functioned just fine. We lost dad to leukemia last February, but the kidney was still going strong right up till the end. It added years onto dad's life. An extremely selfish and unselfish act at the same time - selfish because Scott (and all of us) wanted to keep dad around as long as possible, and unselfish because Scott gave up a kidney to keep dad around as long as possible. Scott was back to work within 3-4 weeks or so, but he has a desk job, which is not demanding on his body. I hope all goes well with your aunt.

I've had numerous deer hit a trophy rock over the years, with this Ohio 10 pt being the most impressive...

No hills, and very few trees. I forgot to mention how comfortable the suspension seat is. It's like your floating across the yard, even in the "rough" spots...

Well, this machine is an animal. Smooth, easy to operate, and can handle anything. Got the entire yard done in just under 2 hours, with a slight learning curve on the controls. Everyone said I'd cut time, but I was still a bit skeptical... not anymore. :thumbup:

I keep about 2.5 to 3 acres mowed around the house. On my current mower (54" Husqvarna from Lowes) I would spend 2 evenings throughout the week, or a solid 3.5 hours on the weekend mowing the lawn. I'm looking to cut that time with this new one. I'll be out on it this Sunday, I'll let you guys know how it goes!

After talking to a few more dealers yesterday afternoon and today, I'm going with a Gravely Pro Turn 160 with a 23.5HP Kawasaki engine, 60" fabricated deck. Pro-Turn 100 Zero Turn Mower Should have it tomorrow...

I thought like that as well Al, until I was introduced to the VPA 3 blade vented head... VPATerminator Short I bought (6) heads total, which came in two (3) packs, and unless I lose the heads from the first pack, I doubt I'll ever need to open the second pack. They BH's are virtually indestructible.

On the same note, I hit a doe in the shoulder a few years back with a Rage 2 blade, and got about 4-5" of penetration, never did find her. Can't blame the broadhead, I missed the shot by a few inches, but I would think that a stout fixed blade broadhead would have help me in that case. I switched back to a fixed blade soon thereafter...

It was just like this one, an old Bear Whitetail Hunter compound, loaned to me from my uncle.
