  8. hey marky....glad you are back to plinking your bow....start off light, say 50 pounds, if you can pull more after the season work your way up .....you'll do fine at 50 pounds so fear not.... most of all, have fun and good luck
  9. whichever broadhead you use, get them soon, you need to practice practice practice using one of them, they will not fly exactly like your field point, so if your hunt is coming up soon, you better pick one and get to using it.

    Well?

spent a week in michigan bow hunting, started off hot the first few days, then turned rainy and cooler, but it didnt help the deer activity much. I did see a young buck one morning, but he was the only buck i seen the whole trip.
  15. way to go, he is a dandy buck anywhere....congrats
  16. just being out with friends and visiting family was worth the trip...a good buck would of been the frosting on the cake

  19. good thing i packed for all conditions, first few days temps tickled the 80 degree mark, then it started raining, but we sat out every morning and evening, didnt see much movement, the acorns were dropping in the one area ( sounded like it was hailing) and i did see a small yearling buck on that stand, but it wasnt what i went to michigan to shoot, it turned out to be the only buck i seen...none the less i had a great time, caught up with friends and family if nothing else
  20. thats about the size of my first ever buck....mine was with a rifle though...congrats and welcome to the brotherhood
