  3. Here's a few of my recent pics from this first week of June.
  4. Re: UFC....Hughes Dominates Gracie Can't argue that JG. My brother is a blue belt in Jui Jitsu. He's also got marine training. Fighting weight is 140lbs.
  5. Re: UFC....Hughes Dominates Gracie I think a lot of people under estimate Hughes' Jitz skills because he does not have a belt paired with the fact that he has a phenomenal wrestling background. PS Swamp; my brother has his first mma fight on July 15th at Madtown Throwdown in Madison. Should be a pretty cool event.
  6. Re: UFC....Hughes Dominates Gracie Naturally, these are only matters of opinion and should only be addressed as such. But your last sentence says it all: [ QUOTE ] but I think years ago before Hughes was versed in submissions, Gracie would have won. [/ QUOTE ] Hughes is very well versed in submissions, just look at his latest victories over Gracie, GSP, Trigg, etc. Not only is he a beast at 170lbs, (natural weight is said to be @ 195lbs), but he's a very technical fighter. He does not have a belt rank in Jitz, but I don't see him having much trouble gaining a black belt if he were to try for it. 9 times out of 10, I'm still taking Hughes.
  7. Re: Window Decals I do believe this is the thread you were referring to: Truck Decals Thread
  8. Re: UFC....Hughes Dominates Gracie Gracie isn't exactly making a "comeback". He's still fighting very successfully under other fighting organizations. Even in his Royce's prime, I'm taking Hughes.
  9. Re: UFC....Hughes Dominates Gracie Here is a link to the vid: Hughes Vs. Gracie
  10. Re: UFC....Hughes Dominates Gracie Hughes delivered Gracie a good ol' country whooping!
  11. Re: Let\'s see your biggest buck. I was hoping I wasn't going to have to post these, but at the expense of your guys enjoyment I will. Excellent pics everyone. Enjoy.
  12. Re: How much beak meat in 06? Tough hunting this year in Wisconsin, but still managed to go 3 for 4 in our group. Here is my brother with his tom: Me with my tom: And the both of us with my tom:
  13. My brother and I had quite a few laughs during our turkey season this year. Our hunt dates were from May 17th to the 21st. We both tagged nice toms in what was a very difficult hunting season. He tagged a 20# long beard on the second day of hunting. It took me until the last final hours before I bagged my 22# tom. We have come up with three general rules to consider when hunting turkeys: 1) The North American Wild Turkey is an elusive beast. 2) They come when you least expect it. 3) They don't shoot themselves. Enjoy the pics: Brother Jason and his tom: Jason playing Yahtzee! just before my tom showed up. They come when you least expect it! My set-up. We were camped out just behind that log pile. 35 yards to the decoys. My tom:

  15. Re: Starting a outfitter/hunting business In Wisconsin, you are not required to go to a guide school in order to get your guide license.
  16. Re: 05-10-2006 Pics (Bears and Small Buck) Start building up your preference points there Jeramie! In Wisconsin it will take you about 5 years before you get enough point to shoot one of these bruins. You get the points, I'll make the arrangements.

He broke three points, and still netted 200 and 3/8 inches as a 21 point. If anybody would like to see higher res pics of any of these bucks let me know and I'll upload them.

  24. Re: Bowhunting polar bears? [ QUOTE ] I believe I am correct in stating that it is ILLEGAL to bring a polar bear into the USA. In otherwords if you killed it you would have to leave it in Canada. [/ QUOTE ] If that were the case, how did we get this guy home:
