I missed the original post on this too, but I'm glad to hear he is doing better! I hope you and your dad are both doing okay, I know it's probably really hard for both of you. It's VERY good to hear he's up and walking around -- that's a big step! I hope he continues to get stronger every day Just try to stay optimistic, that's all both of you can do, but it sounds like he's on the road to recovery!

If there were an exact date that the world was supposed to end, I think God would have let us know. There's hints, but none of us know for sure, and that's how God wants it. We're not supposed to know when the world is going to end -- it's on His time. It's a little frightening to think about, but I know there's a lot better place for all the believer's ahead. Wasn't the world "supposed" to end in 2000/Y2K and on 6/6/06? Yeah, didn't happen ...

I haven't watched it at all and have no desire to. From what I've seen on commercials, it looks pretty pointless. I doubt any of them would last a second if they had to survive in the woods for a week.

Me too, but hey, that was a good comeback and at least we finished the season way better off than last year!

Yeah, me and Andy got to spend the New Year's together with baby ASLEEP We got him to bed about 11:30 and then stayed up for the New Year.

I'm sorry to hear that That's such a nice picture of her! I'm glad she at least went peacefully though. It's always the best way to go and extremely hard watching an animal suffer. Treasure the memories you have with her. I'm sure she had a good life with your family

Since it's almost Christmas and I'm sure lots of you have been decorating and getting in the Christmas spirit, I thought I'd start a thread for you to share what you've been up to (I'm not sure if this should go here or in Photography, so I'm sorry if you need to move this thread!!) This is our tree this year I decorated all by myself at nine months pregnant, haha -- as you can see, Thumper, my cat, likes it. The shotgun lights on the deer we got in the RT Christmas Exchange a few years back. It's Thumper's 17th Christmas! (Those pictures were taken literally ten seconds apart.) This is Dixie! She was not so thrilled about the hat.

I hate math, too. I know how you feel. I finished my finals last week, too and we got our grades up today. I got a 3.6 for the semester. I'm kind of disappointed with myself because I wanted a 4.0, but it could be worse.

Oh no. Not Farmville! LOL! I don't play, but quite a few of my friends do. In one of my communications classes taught by this little Turkish woman, someone was playing Farmville one day and their computer volume was up high and all of the sudden we heard this, "BAAAAHHH!" like a sheep. The teacher looks up and stops in the middle of the room and goes, (with Turkish accent), "Who's playing Farmville?" Then she admitted that she plays it, too.

Death, both my own and loved ones, in some sort of accident. I have a really bad fear of car accidents or fear of losing someone to/dying in one.

We have ours in the house thawing out. Andy and my dad tried putting it in the stand, but the trunk was too frozen for the screws to catch on and allow the tree to be able to stand. It fell over a few times and is now currently leaning on the deer heads on the wall until we can get it in the stand right!

Thank you everyone! It was definitely a surprise and I had a mouth full of shrimp when he asked me, so I couldn't actually say "yes" at first! LOL! It was really nice though. My fingers look so puffy, but there's not a whole lot I can do about that right now being nine months pregnant, haha! Hopefully in just a few short days, he'll be here and then it will fit right Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention: we went to the casino after dinner with my mom and his mom and we won $150 playing a Wheel of Fortune game! Hahaha!

Thanks, me too! We have a "Baby's First Christmas" outfit already so now he has no choice but to get here before Christmas.

Very nice wildlife photography!! I saw a grouse that looked just like that during rifle season the other week, all fanned out. You must have an extremely nice camera! What brand/model is it?

It started to snow a few days ago here. I'm not thrilled now that I have to scrape my windshield and wait for it to warm up.

I was surprised when I heard about this. His wife is absolutely gorgeous and they have a beautiful family. It's very sad, for sure. Cheating is definitely something that hurts,(I've had it happen to me before and it's very heart wrenching), and I have to agree with what New said. Tiger should be ashamed of himself.
