Re: Tarsal glands! i've tried it but haven't had any success. I still believe it will work in the right situation. I think my problem is I always shoot the biggest most dominant buck in the county and so when I put out his tarsal glands it scares all the other deer away (at least that's what I keep telling myself). I cut mine off and immediately triple baggie wrap it and put it in the freezer. I'll use one as a drag to my stand and the other one i'll hang---i just refreeze them after each use--amazing how long those glands hold their scent. (don't let the wife find them in the freezer) and if some scent does sneak thru blame it on the old frozen fish in the back. good luck todd
