Again I posted it here since it seems to have more traffic hope the mods dont mind!

Well this saturday Im headed back to Manitoba for the muzzleloader opener on monday. This past september I was there chasin them with the bow nw it redemtion time!!! Just spoke with Gage Lowry owner of Wildwood Outfitters and the weather is cooled down alot from the mid 80s I had in september. Average highs are low 40 s with lows in high 20s . I have my trust texters ready to rock and roll now I gotta do my part and put a brusier on the ground. That 1 5x5 that score around 170 has a Barnes sabot with him name on it. Ill update as I can limited cell service as you recall

trophy or shooter is in the eye of the beholder pretty much if he trips your trigger hes a shooter around home my standards are a less due to NYs deer herd but lately in my block were shooting bigger bucks Id guess 120 minumum here on the road same thing only have 4-5 days to hunt every day is different Pretty much what Chris said in earlier post

just sighted in my Optima shot great with Barnes ex panders 250 grain with 3 triple seven pellets nice group at 150 yrds od lead sled!

And for once it went smooth lol shooting the Barnes Ex panders great groups out to 150 yards. Will shoot it 1 more time before I head back to Manitoba on the 22nd. I like to shoot 2 at 50 yrds, 2 at 100 yards and finish off with 2 at 150yards to make sure its ready

Im hunting home Dan lol without out a cameraman for once hopefully fill a doe tag or one of the bucks weve been seeing .

dbl shifts at work and Im offically on vacation. Been working alot , and havent spent much time here because of that (sorry) . I have a week off from now till next monday work 2 dbl's and off for awhile cant wait need to get some rest and time in a tree.

Howse everyones season going ? here in Ny we start this saturday. I know alot of other states start earlier wish ours did.
