Bama usually new show owners go to the trade shows ATA ,SHOT and make appts to meet with the companies staff to show what they have to offer. Its a tough business to get into Ill say that.

its fun year round for me.. looking for new ground ,shooting etc Dont put all pro staffers in the same bunch now some go hunt big fancy ranches . But some do it the right way and earn it , I hunt about 95% on DIY hunts where I find the land, access it whether by handshake or trespass fee and then hang my own stands and hunt.

Abrown there is no difference between you and pro staffers. I have worked for NYS for the last 22 + years ,and hunt, scout as you do. The pro staff wording is misleading it falls under promotional staff . Where as Realtree sends me to various events at Cabelas , Bass Pro etc if you read back in this post it might shed a little light for ya Tim

My Montana hunt will be On Deer City USA on the Outdoor Channel filmed by our own Southeastbowhunter ( Clint Womeldorff) mon,thursday at 2pm and saturday at 930am eastern times Then in August Im hunting on Clint's grandfathers ground and take a brute coming into the decoy same times on Deer City USA

Rhino looks like another early start sept 4th to Manitoba for whitetail bow hunt,,sept 23rd to Ohio for early whitetail bowhunt,, Oct 23rd Colorado mule deer rifle ( if I can get land owner voucher thats not to expensive) Nov 1st to Wy for rifle hunt for whitetails ( find out tomm if I drew special tag) Then to Illinois for gun hunt( Nov 19th ? I think ) with one of our members here John Clough

both my guys that film for me are using the new Cannon models in HD. If your going to get camera that you think that you might want to use to submit to tv , get it in HD. That what everyone is turning to. Also there is a few Sony's that are popular as well

Ill be in Scarborough ,Maine a guest of Cabelas for the annual Moose event. This is where they do the drawing of moose permits for res. and non res.. Its a big deal up there , alot of events going on that day there, looking forward to it If any members in the area are free...stop on out..
