today was a real good test for my layout and me sitting in it LOL it wasn't a calm day forsure LOL the pics were taken well after daylight and it was much much worse just daybreak ...it will test ur fear of water forsure LOL we had about 8 foot swells and white caps on top of that day break but as the morning went on it calmed down here are a cupple pics of the morning....frist 2 pics are of the tender boat BTW buddy has orange on casue its his floater suit and it don't really bother eiders and the pics make the weather look much better !

toady the wind was right and we decided to go to a spot that we have been waiting for well we got to the spot and there was some guys waitin and we chated and more was showing up ....all we do is lay shoulder to shoulder in the rocks and today we shot a 27 man limit there may not be that many in the pic cause some ppl left early but u can get the idea of how great the hunt was .....btw my shoulder is black and bluse here is a pic of the gang in the rocks

went early this morning and got 5 eiders we should have had more but poor shooting and ducks coming from behind didn't help matters LOL but we were happy with 5

Re: this afternoons seaduck hunt we have a 16 foot boat to take the layout out to the spot you want to hunt and anchor it and then the "tender " anchors aways away and keeps a eye on ya and gets all your ducks and chases cripples

Re: Animal snare and traps. I used to make a wire box and use a figure 4 to trigger it and bait it on berrys and used it for grouse worked great if I could get them before the racoons LOL

today the fog cleared off after daylight so we decided to give it a try and see what we could get ...we got one eider and 2 scooters ...frist ducks shot from my layout boat

sorry no duck pics only got 3 it was to nice of a day along with too warm ...the 3rd pic is of the hunt I had today in the layout in the fog and no ducks but great fun

this Sat will be our opener for eiders and scooters so I am pumped I have all my gear aboard my boat and just about going nuts waitin LOL anyways here is a pic of my diver rig ...im each blue lobster crate there is 7 decoys already on a line with anchors

Re: some pics from my trip sowrd fishing this was my frist trip and the harpooning sowrdfish pics where taken by a good freind NSWhitetail....long lineing sowrd fish we don't have time to play with a fishing rod sad to say we did have 3 tuna but we were after sowrds but the trip before they landed 27, 000 lbs of yellow fin and big eye tuna ......this summer was the best summer for harpooning sowrdfish for a long time
