these fish were cought 200 miles from home and east of Sable Island off NS during the last 11 days I spent long lining sowrd fish this one is what we call a wahoo not sure if its the real name?? this one was a mahee mahee (spellin) here is one days sowrd fish waiting to be put in the fish hold and iced off

today I went to a salt water pond I have hunted for the last 4-5 years and fixed up my blind I was there last night to have a look around and seen about 12 green wing teal and about 6 black ducks ....most I have seen this early (most be all local birds)....well I got my blind almost 100% back in shape all it needs now is to be made alittle thicker and I will be all ready.....COME ON OCT 8th!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I do but around here where I hunt it is no concern I know almost everyone and everyone here knows me and that I like to hunt so I have no problems I can grab my shotgun in the morning and walk up the road and down acrossed peoples lawns to go hunting and when they see me they always wave or ask me how the seasons been

Re: Why? ok I must have been worng I have been before but it was lead shot used and the bird was in hard shape must have just been from the shot in him ?? thanks for the info I thought they could get it from being shot too

Re: Why? thats sad to see right there we found a goose one time that had lead posioning from some hunter still useing lead! it was a hard looking goose and he was put down but to think he whent as long as he did that way is unreal

Re: some nice smallmouths! well thats a fuuny story ya know ...while out scallop draggin I cought a bumble bee and put it in a emty scallop shell and started shaving like Fred Flintstone LOL

yesterday afternoon I hooked up with a old freind I went to collage with that I haven't seen for a year and hes married now so me him and his wife went bass fishing .... it was good to see him agian as we use to hunt and fish together all the time..... anyways heres our 3 biggest fish hes being 18 inches 3lb 4 oz and mine 17.5 inches 2 lb 8 oz and other one was 16 but never weighted him

own Shimano Crucial rods?? I got one yesterday and used it today for the frist time during a torney and I was very pleased how it handles big fish and its easy on the arm casting all day compared to my other lower end shimano rods the only rod I have that comes close is my 6' AllPro rod ....I will most likley be getting another one in the future

Re: Minnesota Waterfowl Changes our season starts Oct frist for divers and goes to Jan 7th and bag limit is 5 per day puddle ducks starts Oct 7th or 8th not sure at the moment and gose till end of Dec and bag limit is 6 but only 4 can be black ducks
