this pic is from Oct 8th, Alisha has hunted sea ducks with me before but this year we got to hunt puddle ducks. we were all set up before daylight with just 5 decoys. As daylight was breaking we could hear shots all around us and had alot of teal buzz the blind but none we could shoot. when all of a sudden i see a GW teal coming in and I let it land and tell her to shoot it ..she ends up shooting 2 teal and then I get my gun out of the case next we had 2 black ducks land in decoys and I missed mine and gut shot it on second shot and alisha finished mine and hers out LOL shes my back up but then again I was shooting a unfamiliar gun :D we ened up with 3 black ducks and 9 teal

man lewis you made it sound big LOL I suppose you gonna tell everyone it blew the hair right off top of your head LOL me and Alisha was out driving around watching the waves and keeping a eye on the boat

we have no worries he isn't aloud to take his pink apron for house keeping off long enough to do that hes on a tight choke chain :D

well we just got home 4 am from few days at sea long lining and i couldn't help but drive to my land and look at whats new LOL I am like a kid wanting to see his new toy again LOL wel i find that the basement walls are ready to be poured and some more land work done. i am getting really excited:D I must admit its most stressed and worried I have been, manly as my future wife isn't around to help with decisions and support me and i her during this but i feel once she comes here on 18th we will be able to enjoy it together. the large rock in pic is being blown this week and if you look close you can see the ocean threw the trees so I hope to have a nice free from the living room

haven't posted alot been busy with fishing and geting things ready for house. here are pics of the frames for the footings, they will be poured tomorrow the house is a pre fab and will be here sept 30th its geting close Alisha gets here sept 18th

about 3 weeks ago or more now I was dragging my boat to put it in a lake and i hurt my back a little and it never seemed to get much better but when it get i had a pain shoot down my leg the doctor told me I have a pinched nerve in my lower back... now I have a bad limp and can not extend my leg (kinda like a cramp) but the funny part is it only bothers me after rest if i work 18 hour days i walk fine just cant extend my leg:confused: any advice on how I should care for it ? they have me getting a x ray or something soon on it

while out long lining ground fish last trip we got part of a gill net warped up in our hooks and line. As we started to haul in this peice of net we started cutting lobsters out that where tangled so bad that they couldn't move we keep all but a few aboard to take pic to show how many lobsters in this net. After about a hour we had all net aboard and we managed to cut the net off all the lobsters where re released them with care. they were all 5 lbs and up with that one big one we judge around 16-18 lbs.

I have heard that the guy that goes to the very top has a inner tube that he fills with a can of air on rough days to make it easier on him then just beating around in metal ring

i have a bass tournament coming up and i was trying to find a map of the lake but I cant find one with detail because our lakes arent big and no good maps have been made... so i was wondering about Google Earth and just zoom in on the lake and print then i can add what i want to the map as I go ....the name of the lake is lake Vaughn in Yarmouth county NS if anyone is board and like to help as i have dial up LOL ya the real fast stuff LOL just pm me and i appreciate it

thought I would make a post on here to see if I can sell it. I have a plano tackle bag will hold 6 3700 trays on edge and you can put the 7th on top of them on its flat.. it hasnt been used much...its just been collecting dust for too long (trays in pic not included ) $40 OBO

well the other day i went bass fishing and i had to deal with a ton of black flies LOL good thing is I am not bothered by them or else I would have gone nuts LOL it was hard job to find fish but i managed a few after awhile I was useing a joeflie spinner I had bought when I was in WV to spend time with Alisha ..Ihave never seen them around here but i must say they work LOL sorry aksheephuntress for the no smile LOL I feel I look stupid if I "try" to smile LOL

man a 6 + pound smallie I would have to sit down for the rest of the day LOL my largest on the scale was 4.1 lbs and 19 inches cought one 21 incher that was like a football one time but no scale so I not sure but id say 4 1/2 atleast but no pic and and no weight just another fish story LMAO our bass season dont open till april 1st and then for frist cupple weeks its tough bite with water of 40-48 then after that it warms up alittle I only had 53 the other day I heard of one lake being 60 but that was short lived with the weather we are having LOL
