Re: RMEF Sweet deal OJR. My dad won the sponsorship raffle and since he was second took the Weatherby. Its chamberd in 300 mag and the 3 test firings are impressive if you ask me. He let me register it since i just turned the big 18. Now i have the 300 Win Mag and 300 WSM.

Won a weatherby vanugaurd last night. Its all black synthetic and chambered in 300 mag. Now the question is to keep or not to keep. I already have a 300 WSm in winchester Model 70 Supershadow.

Re: Another social security Post! The plan for private accounts will work in the short run will be expensive. But over 20-30 years of instuting private accounts, (long run) social security will be able to sustain itself. We are already in debt, our economy is on its upsloping end of a resecion, and if the social security issues aren't solved by the time our economy starts to "naturaly" slow down, we may not be able to fix it. Now i aggree, the 3 billion dollar price tag is hefty. But if its institued in long term steps, i feel it will be very benificial to myself and my kids. Retirement age peole now are not going to be effected, so i don't know why we even listen to them. Its a choice that younger americans such as myself must make. And lets think about putting More money into a failing system.... great idea. I'm done thining about that one. You can continue, I'll wait.

Re: Race and the Political Parties I think there are several reasons Black consitantly vote democrat. In AP gov we just studied the demographics of presidential votes. There was a tendancy for highschool educated to vote democrat. While 4 year graduates were consistantly voteing republican. African Americans as a whole have a tendancy to be less educated than whites. Also, people who made less than $50,000 dollars a year had a tendancy to vote democrat in most elections. Again, African americans and minorities have a tendancy to make less money. But also i feel that parents beliefs have more to do with political party affiliation than education or wealth. Also, I believe that democrats appeal to minorities because they are progressive on social issiues which in some cases their republican counterparts tend to be more orthodox and less liberal on social issues.

I love the Private account idea. I think younger generations like myself could serioulsy benefit. I think democrats are being totaly retarded. The system needs not minor.. but major work. I have yet to hear the democrats voice an idea except... "We're liberal... NO" Raiseing the retirement age is out of the question IMO. I don't want to work till i'm 70. And increasing payroll taxes will drive down Consumer demand and lower industrial supply, possibly createing a negative GDP growth. My problem is the 3 Trillion dollar price tag. I think after we finish in Iraq, then we can do this.

Oh yeah.. min to. 18 at last, I can buy guns and girly magizines... WHOO HOO.
