[/ QUOTE ] I use a benelli Nova for Turkey hunting that is black. I take gun tape and cover it up. and then theres this leafy take stuff. I put that on it. Now thats a camo gun lol. If your worried about it buy 2 rolls of gun camo tape and tape it up.. just be shure to remove it after the season useing rubbing alcohol (residue) and gun oil for the metal.

HEvi shot never patternd as well out of my 12 ga that it did out of my 20 ga. I think for the shot Question you could go with Winchester Supremes High Velocity with number 6's. I get the best pattern with that. If your only using this gun fror turkey ok.. but i would lean to the 835 for some reason. But wither gun will work great.

Re: Anyone use Crimson Talon, Tusker broadheads I've heard they are good but also i have heard they are bad. Mainly the bad is about being too "limsy"and sometimes I hear they don't fly good. But then theres the good with people killing tons of deer with them. Their worth a try I'd say.

Re: basic items for turkey? Shoot a extra full choke with 3 inch to 3.5 inch shells. Whichever shell size you can handle. I shoot Winchester Supreme 3.5 #6's out of an Undertaker Choke tube. Other basic Items include Head/face net. Call(s) (one you feel comfotable with) Locator call (s) {Crow call} Knife Bugspray Small Binocs decoy

I'm gonna sqich this year from aluminum to carbon arrows. I'm lookin for some that wont cost me an arm and a leg but still are great value. Any sugestions? Also do i have to chamge my bow setup?

Re: Whats your favorite.... Polaris 500 H.O. Not cheap at all but its quiet as all get out. Powerful and gets me where i need to go quickly. Also i can leave gear on my ATV thats easily accesible. Like my hatchet, scent box, rope, raincoat, blind, extra arrows/shells. Secondary firearms, warmer clothes, tracking markers, food. Yep, deffinantly my favorite.

Re: mossy oak or realtree? i am a mossy oak I just picked up a parka in New mossy oak break up. I looked at other realtree HD but for some reason I like this stuff better now. And the coat was priced right so I can't complain. I always have mixed but in the past few years i have discriminated to Realtree HD.
