My daily ccw is a Springfield XD subcompact in 40s&w. This is also my open carry gun. I also own a Ruger GP161 (yes...6" barrel) stainless 357magnum. My pocket pistol is a Raven .25. So now I'm shopping for another handgun. Here is what I am considering: Ruger 357 or 38 snubbie (this would become my ccw) XD 9mm (can't have too many XDs) Some type of 1911 (but can't spend a grand )

I haven't received any additional updates at this point. I am actually on vacation right now so I'm sure I will get more details when I return to the office.

This is one of the reasons I went with the XD. The liked the grip angle much better than the Glock.

I think you will really enjoy the XD. I haven't shot the 45 but have heard great things about it. I love my 40!!!

I am confident that I'll be happy with it for a very long time. For the record, they are running about $199 depending on the model you go with.

Do you mean the Springfield XD? If so, that would be my choice....and was. My ccw is an XD 40 subcompact...not ported though.

My first handgun was a revolver, Ruger 357mag with a 6" barrel, which I still have and LOVE! I now carry a Springfield XD 40 SC as my CCW.

My cousin got me into BMX racing when I was growing up. I started with a Kuwahara then moved to a Patterson Racing Pro. I quick found out that I sucked on the track! I was much better at freestyling! We had a great little pack of freestylers until everyone started getting their driver's licenses. PRIORITIES!!!

Just picked up my first-ever Ruger 10/22 with a Bushnell 2x7x32 scope. Can't wait to take it out.
