  1. Re: Detroit tigers I think the tigers are going to be a real surprise team this year. My cubbies I'm not to sure about right now , I think it totally depends on pitching. Hopefully they gel as a team and ride it. Not worried about the yanks .

  9. Re: Tunning my bow? Go to easton arrows web site and under downloads they have a tuning guide, that would help you understand things a little and a good pro shop .

    Seen The Light

Re: Seen The Light Thanks guys, I'm really looking forward to shooting it some more and deer season.
  13. Well my dad and I took yesterday and went to shoot some bows. I posted before on what to look for in the feel of the bow, alot of good imput came back, thanks guys. So I went to let the bow choose me . I shot different bows, different brands not even looking at the hoyt line to much. Many of the bows called my name and the power of the dark side is powerful in deed (no bow bashing intended) but in the end the hoyt V Tec made the long drive back home with me. I must say I had no real intention on grabing the hoyt(thanks Tony)., but after shooting it to compare with other bows I was looking at the V Tec was smoother on the draw, alot less vibration during and after the shot stood dead in my hand, and the grip was awesome for me. I wondered if this bow would be forgiveing enough for me since I don't have the best form but it seems like it might be, I certainly hope so. No more second thoughts . Also the dvd that came with it is awesome, I just wonder where all them big bucks are at here, now maybe one of those big daddys will come to see my hoyt in realtree . Forgot to say it's 29.5" draw, 60-70#.
  14. Re: Favorite Baseball player. Now Mark Prior(love watching him pitch) and Jeter(pure clutch and a sportsman) Then Andre Dawson and Ryne Sandberg(the ryno meter)
  15. Re: Favorite Baseball team Been a Cubs fan since childhood(what happen this offseason ) and anyone playing the cards and may the pinstripes rule unless of course they play the cubs
  16. Re: scorpian mech heads I had that happen with a 100 gr muzzy and a 70 lb bow .
  17. Re: Selecting a New Bow Thanks guys. So many choices now to pick one
  18. Re: PARK WINS!!!!! Good to hear him back in victory lane.
  19. Re: Selecting a New Bow Thanks guy, thats what I was thinking. Sort of like alot of things in life, you don't know until you experience it. Before I just picked what was in my budget and fit my dl.
  20. When selecting a new bow what things do you guys look for? I know the specs range ata bh etc. I want, but what do you look for in how it feels and so forth. I'm looking and want to buy the best bow for me cause it might have to last awhile. I always hear buy what feels best, so how do you know whats best.
  21. Re: Jose Canseco He was the man as I was growing up, now he's selling his world series ring. Everybody has a part of the blame MLB, the players asso.,the players themselves, the media, mostly MLB. The only one profitting from this is Jose. AS a devote fan "What a Shame"
  22. Re: Randy Moss a Raider.... Culpepper said he was getting tired of smoothing things out for them and covering his butt. Now the Raiders have to order a larger helmet to fit his fro into . I agree the Vikes sort of got ripped, good pick up by Al though.
  23. Re: Can the average bowhunter tell a difference? I think the spine tolerance would play a bigger part from what has been said. I could see little difference in straightness, if I did my part.
  24. Re: Easton ST axis...anyone used them Forgot to add, I did harvest a big doe with the Axis and didn't see any better penetration then with my beamans. That was a muzzy though.
  25. Re: Easton ST axis...anyone used them This is just my experience w/ the Axis arrorws. First they shot very well for me, at lest better then my beamans, no complaints there. Second I did have problems with the durability of them. Had one split on 1/4" plywood(test shot) shot straight into it at 20yds. not with the beaman. Along those same lines towards the end of deer season this year, I was out in -0 windchill weather when I took an open(no limbs in the way)shot at a doe. I noticed the arrow fly way over her back, which I couldn't figure out how I did that. But on further inspection the last 6-8" of my arrow was laying 10yds in front of where the doe was. Meaning it broke on the way to her, explaining my high shot. I couldn't find the rest of the arrow just the back where it appered it just came apart and unwraped(which was a yellowish color spirled out past the broken black carbon). That made me say "YIKES ". That is just my experience though. This coming year its either easton alum. or goldtip, leaning towards alum you can understand why. Oh ya forgot to mention I always inspect my carbon arrows before shooting.
