I haven't been on here in a long time either. Sitting here watching the new Monster bucks on Realtree365 and thought of this place lol

I'm looking for one. I sold my z7 a couple years ago and have regretted it ever since. I haven't had a bow since then, but I'm ready now. The Halon is one of the ones I'm looking at, along with the Hoyt defiant and elite impulse 31.

Not sure if you have a smart phone or not Tim, but there is an app out called Periscope that I think would be pretty neat to go along with your live hunt posts. Basically people can "follow" you like on twitter or Facebook, but instead of typing updates it is a live video feed. Once you open the app and start recording it will send a notification to anyone following you that you are now live and you just use your phone to "film" and they see a live feed of what ever you are looking at with your phone.

I have only been on here a handful of times since this new update and have left in frustration just about every time lol. One time I was on the main forum page, seen a post in the lounge I wanted to read, so I clicked on the lounge, and the post wasn't there. I couldn't find the dang thing. I ended up having to go back to the main page and clicking on it from there. The crossbow room, hasn't worked right for me since it was added here. I used to have to click on "last post" to get them to come up in the right order, now I can't even do that. I can't even see the latest thread in there unless I click on it from the main page.

Just one? LOL I need a few things. Going to be buying a scope for my muzzleloader, need a new ladder stand, and if I keep my current bow I am going to change the sight,rest, quiver, and stabilizer on it. No sure how much of this will be bought this year, but I am at least getting the scope.

Been using a Scott little goose for quite a while now and it needs to be replaced. My next one will probably be a Tru-ball.

I haven't decided yet. I had my 2010 Mathews z7 up for sale, and my uncle told me he wanted it. He hasn't come up with the money yet (been 2-3 months) and the longer he waits the more I feel like I want to keep it.

Well, after about 9 years with my encore I am making a few changes with it. First off, I have shot open sights with it from day one. And while it has worked ok, I am finally going to be adding a scope to it. Probably going with the Nikon inline XR. Next, I am switching from pellets to loose powder. What I need to know is what all exactly do I need (obviously powder ) as far as accessories? I'll be using BH209. Any other tips will help as well, like what load to start with. Going to be trying some barnes bullets as well.

I haven't bought a Monster Bucks video since around number 16-17. It got pretty boring just going from one person in a tree, kiling a deer, the brief recovery, then on to another person in a tree/blind. I like to see a little more leading up to the hunt kind of like Realtree Roadtrips like showing a little more of the fun that goes on in camp.

I'm closing in on 10 years on the forums. I remember spending hours a day on here. I haven't posted much in the last couple years, but I still come in at least once a day to see whats going on. I might be moving to Indiana soon. If I do I'll probably be spending more time in here since I only plan on having the internet and no cable TV for a while, to save money.

Pretty cool you got his autograph Blade. A lot of those pro's seem like pretty good guys. The next couple of Elite series events are right here in Michigan. There is a tournament on Lake St. Claire/Detroit River in a couple weeks, and then the Toyota All-Star Week on the other side of the state on Muskegon Lake next month. Hoping to make it to at least one of those events.

I'm left eye dominant, shoot guns left handed, write left handed, but am right handed when shooting my bow and do everything else. It's a comfort thing. I was never "taught" which hand to shoot with. When we went and bought my first gun it I was more comfortable shouldering it left handed. When I bought my first bow I was more comfortable shooting right hand. I say hand him a BB gun, and just let him shoulder it on his own, and then teach him from there.

Every year I say I need or want to replace this or that, but I never end up doing it. I have wanted a new rest for my bow for a while now, since I got it in 2010, but I have yet to make the purchase. Other than that, I don't think there is anything I really need. Lots of WANTS though

I ordered a couple 7 inch Samsung galaxy tab 2 tablets. Best buy has them for $179 right now. I actually ordered one for myself, but decided to give it away for Christmas, then ordered another one. Not sure if I am keeping it or giving it away though. I haven't messed around with one yet, but the reviews have been pretty good. Have an aunt who has the 1st gen. of it an she likes it. They run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
