  1. Good job on the plowing Lewis, and great pictures. We had our biggest snowfall a week ago, probably around 6-7 inches over a day and a half...that's all gone now. And as I type this is it pouring rain outside. Pretty lame winter, I'm ready for spring and some golf.
  2. Ahh OK, i gotcha. I really don't post much on Facebook, the last "status" update I posted was back in January after the Michigan bowl game. Before that it was in September. As for information, I don't have much on there, probably the same stuff, if not less, than I have on my profile here. The people I cant stand on there are the ones who put their whole lives on Facebook. Let me know when you get a promotion, or are expecting a child, or getting married, major things like that. I don't need to hear/read that you just got done vacuuming or are eating a sandwich. I "hide" people who post to much junk, and I block all of the games that people post on there. It really is what you want to make it out to be, you can post as much or as little as you want, limit the people who can see your profile and updates, hide or block people and apps. Like I said, I just use it to communicate with friends and family around the country. If you use it right, it's really not that bad. Good luck if you decide to try it out.
  3. Congrats guys! Didn't realize we had a chance until I seen ilhnter posted his buck. Congrats on the buck! Thanks for a great year team.
  4. Congrats to my fellow teammates, and to team 3! Another great deer contest, thanks for running the show jcwa.
  5. So sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers.
  6. Yep, forums are a form of social media. I have both a Facebook account and multiple Twitter accounts. Don't post to them much though. Facebook is a great way to keep in touch with friends and family scattered across the country or even word. Whether you open one up is up to you. I really don't see any pitfalls to it (please explain what you think they are), except that some people seem to use it too much.
  7. I seen the deal on the prostaff line about a week ago. I have needed a new scope for my .270 for a while now and am debating on getting the 4-12 x 40for it. If anyone uses a prostaff and can give me the pro/cons of them I'd like to hear them to help me make my decision.
  8. I think he meant "Juan" out of the 43 cars on the track. Either way it's funny lol
  9. Installing the iPhone app, haven't had a chance to mess with it yet though. Will have to check it out.
  10. Good deal Ross, Congrats. Can't wait to see the pics.
  11. I enjoy both. But if I had to pick one over the other I'll take hunting over fishing.
  12. It was fun as usual Good job this year team, we didn't win but still had fun participating.
  13. No thanks, I think I'll sit out if it goes to a draft system. I like the randomness of how each team is picked. Go to a draft and eventually people will get to comfortable with the team they are on and soon the same teams will be picked over and over. If you want to make sure people that sign up are going to actually participate, try doing a 2 phase sign up. The usual time for the sign up is around the end of August, so make phase 1 at around the beginning or middle of July, then the second for the end of August as usual. To participate you MUST sign up in both phases, you miss one, you are not in.
  14. I have wanted a new sight, rest, stabilizer, and quiver for my bow for a couple years now. Don't need em, but I want em. I'll at least have a new rest on it for the season.
  15. No fear of heights here...its a fear of falling That's way to high for me, especially free climbing like that...NO WAY, lol. It was a cool video, I like seeing stuff like that. No way I'd have the guts to get up there and do it though, unless maybe if I was able to wear a parachute
  16. Yep, got 3-4 inches of snow last night and they are calling for another 2-4 today. The biggest snow storm we've had all winter I think. I was all set for spring to get here so I could get out golfing
  17. This is out of a 2nd floor window looking out front: This is looking out my bedroom window (2nd floor also) looking towards the back.
  18. Geez where do I begin People chewing gum. I don't know why but to me chewing gum is just gross. Not to mention very few people actually know what to do with it when they are done. and what's worse is when someone sits down to eat, and they stick it on the edge of their plate...throw the crap away, why are you saving something you just chewed on? Loud people. Be loud at home if you want, but out in public I don't need to hear your conversation from across the store. People who drive with their radio loud. I have my own radio, I don't need to hear yours. Dirty bathrooms, whether they are in a public place, or someones home. People who say or type the word PERIOD after making a statement. Like the great broadhead or bow debate..."Insert broadhead brand here is the best, PERIOD" People who have to turn everything into some sort of religious or political rant. Yeah, that should be enough for now
  19. Great news Steve, glad to hear you are doing well!
  20. I voted on this thread and never replied My z7 has 65# limbs and which is what it is set at. My next bow might be 60# Not that it is tough to pull back 70#, I just don't feel the need to go that high anymore.
