  1. Doesn;t matter to me either....our team went without a name last year lol. Man this weather change has been getting me pumped. It was in the 90's just this past Saturday, yesterday it was in the 50's!! Supposed to stay in the mid 70s all week.
  2. Our season starts Oct. 1st. Not sure what the weather will be like, hopefully not too warm. I always look forward to November when we take out trip to the upper peninsula for the gun opener.
  3. What's up everyone? Looks like we are going to have some fun this year. I'm ready to get going, but this little heat wave we have had these last few days hasn't been fun (it's 89 right now with a heat index of 96!)
  4. For the last few years I have been using a larger space saver bag. I put them in with a scent wafer, zip up the bag, then use a vacuum and take all of the air out. Seems to have worked pretty good. The one I have is big, when heading to the U.P. for the gun opener in November I can put all of my dads, my cousins, and my cold weather gear in the same bag for the trip. Anything thing that needs washing gets it (especially early season when it is still warm out), then put right back in the bag.
  5. Don't think I could handle living down there. It hits 80 and I complain about the heat . Been getting better here, had a pretty good breeze the last few days. Definitely getting that Fall feeling.
  6. So sorry for your loss Steve. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
  7. Bass Pro or Cabelas should have plain camo ones.
  8. Way to go Al, great stories and pics. Congrats on some fine animals.:cool2:
  9. Looks great fly. The second rock does look much better. Congrats
  10. I remember too...been a long time. Welcome back!
  11. Thanks Scott. Mine was messed up as well. Didn't know if it was me or what, went the the change password thing about 3-4 times and couldn't get in .
  12. So sorry to hear this..Prayers on the way for you, your wife and family Steve.
  13. Awesome!! Have a safe trip, can't wait to read the stories and see the pics. Good luck!
  14. I like to use a packet of McCormick's Montreal Steak Marinade. Let it sit in it either overnight or get it ready in the morning. Tastes great!
  15. I was just talking to my cousin the other day about this. Our aunt passed away and she was cremated and I brought up the idea of having this done to me when I die and having the shells distributed among all of my family members who hunt.
  16. Looks great!! Do they have a big enough sofa?? LOL
  17. I don't really have a set routine. Sometimes I'll start at 20 sometimes at 40 or 50, and then move back or forward at 10 yard increments, or even shoot a whole session at one of the yardages. I don't have a specific amount of arrows to shoot at each distance either. I could shoot anywhere from 3 to 30 arrows at one spot. I just like to mix it up, if I were to set a routine I would probably get bored with it and feel like it is taking the fun out of shooting since I am forcing myself to do the same thing over and over.
  18. My sight has 4, but I only use three set at 20, 30, 40 yards. The last is set at 50 but that will never get used in the woods, actually the 40 yard pin will probably never be used either unless conditions are perfect. It is fun practicing at those yardages though.
  19. Noticed the same thing here a couple days ago but forgot to post it. Does the text and images on the very left hand side run off the screen for anyone else? Here is a screen shot from my phone, does the same on my ipad, and when in landscape mode in both.
  20. My bad, I guess it was the two years before that then (or at least one of the years). I think it was three years/seasons ago my team won, I was happy with the bragging rights
  21. Congrats Kyle. I don't know how you did it being away from your family like you were. That loss in pay probably won't be as much as you think. Remember, you are now only paying for one household instead of two. Congrats again, enjoy your time with your family
