I usually hit the Clark Co fair, but I'm going to an outdoor concert Friday night. Hope you enjoy the fair. Look up the pork chop booth!!! You won't regret it! The local sweet corn is coming on too, so it should be good.

Yeah, the foot is doing good and just had the last stitch taken out yesterday.:beer: The doc had tacked down both ends of the muscle so that I wouldn't do more damage to the ruptured muscle while it healed. Boy that stitch ran about 3.5 inches and wasn't real cooperative about coming out after 3 weeks of being in my foot! Kinda stung when he yanked that puppy out! Bet you are sooo thrilled to have that cast off. So was it ....a real pleasure.... to finally be able to scrub your leg down and scratch till your hearts content? It sure felt good to me when I finally could. Hope the swelling goes down soon and you can get out of that boot!

I worked his show here in Dayton this spring and he was great!! We had a full house and the patrons had a great time. Everyone left with a smile on their face. Laughing is sooooo good for the soul! You'll love it. Hey Russell I take it you work security, too.

Update on the foot. I had surgery ...and...no ganglion! Apparently when I dug out all those privet-like hedges I really messed up some of the muscles in my foot. Literally pushed them out of place. So....one had gotten pushed up and kinda balled up on the top of my foot and in the process put pressure on some nerves. The Doc was a little surprised and had to change his game plan a little. He had to go deeper and work with the muscle and he actually had to trim part of the muscle. I seem to have full function of my foot, toes and flexibility. There is a small spot on the top of my foot that is numb, but it doesn't seem to effect anything. The worst part was the pain meds!! My bowels hate them. Needless to say I stopped that within 36 hours. I am very happy with the outcome! ALSO, I turned in my notice to retire!!!!!! August 1, I'm officially retired! WOOHOO!

Bet you'll be glad to get those tubes out of your nose! Hopefully the surgery will remedy your problems and you heal quickly.

Well gals, I'll be "out of order" for a week or so. I'm having some foot surgery. I've been fighting some neuropathy in my right foot, not from diabetes, but from totally abusing my foot digging out 15 or so privet-like hedges this past spring. I'm darn near over that, but I have this wamping big ganglion on the top of my foot and there is no way that can stay and me wear boots in the fall. Hopefully, it's not around the artery that's below it. Atleast I'll get off work for a week:). Gotta wear one of those boots, throu.

My brother lives close to Newnam and I think he might have thought that I might move to GA the next time I moved......Nope, Georgia is too humid for too long. You usually are not much hotter than Ohio, but we're just starting to get humid and you've probably have been humid since March. 107.......that's a 24/7 hotflash!!!! (woops, telling my age here)
