Do you use dip while you hunt? One of my hunting buddies does. See, I'm one of those 'anal scent control' freaks and he uses this menthol smelling 'stuff' that I can smell from 30 yards away. I can tell which stand that he has used recently. It's not body oder just the dip. I've really disappointed him this year by always having an excuse to not hunt that day. And being 300 yards away doesn't sit well with him. I guess I just need to be blunt with him and tell him, in my best Cheech and Chong voice, " you dip shtinks, mon".

Anyone going to the deer expo in Columbus, Ohio in March?? Think I'll be there on sunday. One of my hunting buddies wants to go and I missed it last year. We'll probably make a day of it. There goes the tax refund!

Anyone know what the non-res. and tag fees are right off the top of their heads??

I hope the adults ( 45-55 year olds) behave themselves better than they did at the Nutter Center a few years ago. We still talk about that one! They partied like they did in college ......aaaaaand let's just say they did not pull it off well. I imagine that quite a few kids were 'parent-sitting' the next day. But the show was great!

He'd be on my wall and proud of it. Pinned by a concrete deer or tangled up in some vines or a fence after I shot it would make no difference to me. Fair chase to me. I kinda feel embarrassed for the deer, thou:rolleyes: ....... " Oh, how'd you get on the wall?.... I was hot for this concrete doe, got shot, went back for more, she pinned me, and got shot again. WHAT WAS I THINKIN'!!!!"

That Ruger is a good gun! That's what I have and use. I did have the trigger changed, thou. It's taken many a deer.

I was just fine with the recipe, but after that picture:eek:......the recipe is .......forever damaged! LOL

I guess if your home is paid for, one could be as foolish as they want and not have insurance! I don't know of a mortgage co. that doesn't require insurance!!

I usually go out, but not this year. I was in GA and had just three days to hunt and didn't want to 'waste' a morning in the stores. Plus, I had most of my shopping done by then. Guess I could have done the crazy early stuff and been back by sunrise.
