Re: Newest member to the wall...... Toddy, No I didn't hit the deer, I just handled the accident report and the driver did not want it. I am not sure what the score is on it. Never had anybody score and I do not know anything about how to do it.

Re: American Pioneer Powder I also have switched to the Shockey's Gold. I have the same problem with the corners shaving off when I am sticking it in the barrel. But I have not noticed any difference between the 777 and APP, besides the APP alot cleaner. I could not believe it when I took my ML apart and found how clean it was. I figured I would have to resight the ML in after changing powder, but there was no difference. Same groups with the APP and the 777.

This room is dead!! My bowkill from last season

Re: This room is dead!! My bowkill from last season very nice and interesting mount. -
I just received the newest member of the family, and he fits nicely on the wall. Here is a pic of both of them together. The one on the left is the gun kill from last year, and believe it or not, the one on the right is a roadkill I took the accident report on it one night a couple years ago. The Sgt. let me get my truck afterwards and load it up and had a buddy come get my truck and dress it out for me. It was such a perfect rack with a nice spread. I just couldn't cut the rack off, I had to have the whole thing hanging on the wall. Here are the pics if they work. And the gun kill from last year, 11-18-2005. Thought it was kind of neat, dad's birthday, and the tag permit number was 11182005.

Re: Good Deal Today... Picked up the rifle last night and fired ten rounds through it to make sure it chambers. I did not take it to the range to get it sighted in yet, however, I forsee that in the near future. I will take the gun apart tomorrow night and clean it thoroughly. Upon closer inspection of the gun, I did not see any wear marks or anything like it was mistreated. The chamber and barrel was clean. All in all, I think I did pretty darn good on the deal. However, the trigger is pretty poor on that gun. Is there anything that can be done on those triggers for the 7400? Just curious. I think I can get to learn to shoot that gun though. Thanks for the info. Gents. Take care, Wade

Went to a local auction today and they had 30 guns up for auction. Bid on a Remington 7400 semi-auto rifle, chambered 270, with a 3x9 VX-II Leupold on top. The gun is in great shape, clean, blueing in great shape, and not a mark on the wood. Gave $300 for it. I thought I did pretty good. Guns were going low today, which is a nice change after a couple other auctions I been to. Let me know what you think.... Thanks, Wade

Re: Couple of new toys Nice looking guns there New. That was a heck of a steal there on that Kimber. Have had my eyes on them, but just can't cut loose with the dough. But if I ran into a deal like that, sure it would be a different story. Would have to be thinking of a story to tell my better half.

Re: ATA Grand American I was there today. It is amazing the size of the place. Tons more room then the old place, and alot more room to expand if they want. Will be shooting a couple days this week. I hear alot of people not wanting to go since they moved. Thats ashame, but whereever they moved, there would be some people that didn't like the new location. I am biased since it is closer to me, but it does save me alot of drive time. Anybody else gone or going?

Re: I\'m officially Alumni I played for three years in alumni games after graduating college. After that, I was too sore the next day and finally said that is enough for me. I know what you mean as far as reflexes after not playing for a while. Those alumni games are alot of fun. Nothing like getting back on the field for some good old baseball with old teammates. Sounds like you had a heck of a day. Good job. Wade

Re: harvest pins I got both of mine, archery and shotgun. It took a really long time for them to send it. I am wanting to say I got mine the end of February. I was wondering the same thing. If this was a way for the state to cut back or wein these things out.
