    hotmail users

Re: hotmail users Sounds like you got a Trojan Virus and a bunch of spyware infecting your PC. First Scan Your PC with a virus scanner. Download and run ADAWARE from Lavasoftusa.com http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ Don't feel bad I just removed 579 spyware violations and three trojan viruses from my nieces computer this weekend. All this on a 4 month old computer!!! Much of her's is the result of Hotmail and AOL instant messenger. Keep in mind you may have to disable your internet connection while scanning.

  11. Re: How much of the Bowhunter is the bow? Years ago in College I could dunk a basketball jumping from outside of the lane. This was not because of the shoes I was wearing But if I had tried to do it barefoot or wearing sandals I would have probably sprained an ankle. Had I been stuck with those footwear choices I would have stuck to only jumping straight up and down. Good equipment makes Good people better. Bad or inappropriate equipment holds you back. Or get's you hurt.

    Axis problem

Re: Axis problem If the arrow just glances the side of a tree, it will pop in two the way you describe. You will likely not find the business end stuck in anything. Often the arrow halves end up laying on top of the leaves. Aluminum or carbon I don't care I have seen it with both. Though I do believe the penetration claims of the Axis arrows is a bunch of marketing hype. I don't think what you have experienced is a problem per se. Just the result of a missed shot and a downrange tree IMO. You would not hear the glancing strike as a normal impact.

  20. Re: Antler Recoloring In the past, I have used Kiwi Brown shoe polish to bring the color back to bleached antlers. I know folks that adhere fervently to the theory that what a buck rubs with his antlers determine their color. Hand those folks an antler and tell them, "You can take this sun-bleached antler and rub any tree you like. When you can prove what kind of tree causes what color. Come back and see me." Sounds like you had a more practical idea

  23. Re: pics from my south african hunt Gemsbuckhunter, That is an unheard of turn around on trophies. Is that complete or just dip packed and shipped?
  24. Re: Buffalo Hunting - What a Joke I took this picture at Wilderness Lodge in Tennessee this spring. Our very own Norm Sauceman was right next to me. Would I have shot one, had I had been there hunting them? You betcha! I still dream of the bow shot I could have taken. Buffalo Meat is awesome!! I have never shot a cow but I sure like hamburgers. And yep I would mount a buffalo. I think they look really cool. Unpredictable too, those things are truly manic. This "It's too easy.", attitude gets on my nerves. Nothing is easier than pulling up to the drive though and placing an order. Something still died for that convience. Remember that. And yes I do love hamburgers!
  25. Re: pics from my south african hunt Baboons Canines are longer than that of a female lioness! Mean suckers they are. Did the Blesbok take a bullet to the horn? It appears damaged. Hope the taxidermist can fix that. Very very very nice Gemsbok How is the political situation in RSA right now? With many farmers loosing there land in Zimbabwe it appears the same will happen in Namibia and RSA. I was just wondering if this was a topic of campfire talk while you were there.
